The ECNL hats are starting to sweat.

Don’t pay any attention. It’s just all the GA daddy’s getting excited bc McLean is going GA so they think the soccer world is rolling over and every ECNL girl will now switch to GA according to them lol! In reality they’re just getting a washed up club who has shown they have no clue how to run things from the top down.

Or GA and MLS are gathering the strong leagues to stay BY while ECNL and all the rec leagues GO SY

Why is there such denial about the consequences of this change? It was said multiple times in earlier pages that the strongest players and teams will choose to stay BY. And now those moves are already happening.

What moves exactly have been announced? Do you have a source?

Everything that was stated was fact.
There’s a reason it was delayed. And there is a reason some leagues are aligning with others

You think that the top ECNL women’s teams are staying BY? Good luck with that prediction.

If your kid isn’t part of “the top ECNL teams” then why are you even chiming in?

The Growth of GA from its inception in 2020 will certainly overtake ECNL in the coming years. The amount of money being pumped in will force a few ECNL clubs to take a look at the financials and consider making the switch. I predict GA will be putting just as many girls in D1 as ECNL within 4 years time.

Right now, I'd prefer to be in ECNL for competition and college exposure. But many things are changing. I could not confidently say the same thing will be true in 4 years time; and it doesn't matter who switched to school year or not.

What an idiot. The moment ECNL allows SY, it is game over for GA for college recruiting.

You're the idiot. Rumor is, GA will switch to SY also. ECNL will gain nothing from the switch.
