Namesless baby - please help!

Anonymous
We can't finalize a name for our baby and have run out of time to talk about it anymore! Help! Our older son is named Benjamin.

Deciding between...
1) Nathan
2) Daniel
3) Gregory
4) James

Go with whichever one of the four is "least common" based on the most recent Social Security list of baby names. They're all fine, so you can use that as a deciding factor.
Congratulations!

Nathan is the best and goes well with Benjamin.

Oh you don't make it easy Daniel and James are two of my very favorite names, and they both go great with Benjamin, and Nathan and Gregory are also awesome. I used one, and would happily use the other except it's my BIL's name and he might want a junior.

Do you use a nickname? I think Ben and Dan are a little close being yelled for dinner. On the other hand, if you don't do nicknames then maybe the common 'jam" would be a deciding factor?

So, I'll vote -- if Benjamin goes by Ben, then I'd do James who goes by Jay or Jamie.

If Benjamin goes by Benjamin, then I'll vote for Daniel who goes by Daniel.

If you are actually asking for something different, I'll add Thomas and Matthew to the list. Because I like them as much as, but not better than Daniel or James.

Nathan, nickname Nate

Daniel. They will all inevitably be nicknamed and Dan is the best of the nicknames.

I like James the best. Also like Gregory because it isn't overused. The other two seem overused to me but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use them.

Nathan or James

Gregory - I never hear that name anymore and I love it. Also Joseph - my friend overseas named her son that and it's also very uncommon these days.

These are all just boring run of the mill boys names, so just pick one.
