| We were confused as well and couldn’t decide between two names. So we waited until she was born and the dilemma was resolved. One of the names just felt right to us. |
Agree with this. What is the point of this post. Do you just type whatever you think without being considerate when it comes to the other person’s feelings. This post doesn’t add anything to the discussion. Like Pp said, you have a choice. Choose kindness. |
| My kids are in their 20s and we never did nickname short version. That said Daniel gonna be Dan. Nathan I guess would be my choice. |
Nobody has ever called my son Dan. I’m the only one who calls him Danny. He tells the rest of the world to call him Daniel. |
| OP here, thanks everyone! We went with Daniel. We also considered Alexander at the very last minute but Daniel just felt right! |
I voted “Gregory”, but Daniel is a great choice. Both sons will be able to easily use their names outside of the country. |
| Benjamin |
Benjamin I and Benjamin II? |
| Ben and Nate is very cute. |

Daniel is a wonderful choice! |
| Daniel is a good choice. I was actually going to suggest Nathan and Daniel from your list. |
| I like Daniel! Or if it’s not too late, Jed is also great. |
| Combine Nathan and Daniel—go with Nathaniel! It's more unique too. |
