I mean, who cares? EMK apparently died in 2023 at 88.

Hillsdale just gave her an honorary degree. And they are supposed to be the intellectual conservatives. Lol

Those two clowns insert themselves into everything in an attempt to stay relevant. They have zero credibility.

This conspiracy theorizing and character assassination of Erika Kirk is DISGUSTING. I'm asserting that and I am VERY LIBERAL and was thus disgusted by much of the spew that came out of Charlie Kirk's ugly gummy mouth - but I would defend to the death his right to say it.

After everything that has happened since his murder, people need to do some serious soul searching including many of you here. Erika Kirk may be a tacky human being, but some of the things you folks are posting here are beyond the pale, truly.

Sure you are. But what do benzos have to with this? Educate us.

Georgetown JD class of 2000; three other university degrees including another advanced degree. Over a decade and a half working in healthcare, many years experience as an attorney working with clients and defendants taking multiple prescription medications so multiple decades of experience with seeng the effects on patients and clients of benzos and beta blockers.

Have you seriously no grasp of the fact that people in the aftermath of traumatic events are often prescribed benzodiazepines and/or beta blockers to cope with the body’s stress response??? YOU seem to lack both common sense AND any substantive education. You could remedy your appearance of stupidity but utilizng any basic search engine and doing some self education on the effects of benzos and beta blockers and the reasons why they are often prescribed - including to help people cope in the aftermath of trauma and grief.

Erika Kirk watched her husband be MURDERED in front of her very eyes and whatever her tackiness or grift, she’s grieving the father of her children. Undoubtedly she has already and will continue to cry rivers of REAL tears for him; I don’t judge her for taking some Valium before appearing on stage in front of 60,000+ people and millions more watching her on broadcast TV and internet streams.

Honestly many of the liberals posting in this thread are appearing to be just as heartless and vile as the people people on the right they are excoriating. There is something fundamentally broken in any human being who lacks the compassion to show some grace to a grieving family member of a hideously murdered person.

Doctors aren’t handling out benzos anymore.

Beta blockers decrease your heart rate and can help reduce stage fright.

Neither of these drugs suppresses emotion.

Go outside with your kids or give your parents a call. Take a walk in nature. Do anything but be a politically obsessed online weirdo.

I give a lot of grace to people in the midst of grief. I'm well aware grief doesn't always look like it does in the movies and varies greatly among individuals. That being said, when you look at the full picture here, I don't think it's wrong to have some questions. It isn't simply that she wasn't crying real tears. This is a woman who mic'd herself up and had someone film a dramatic scene at her husband's casket to post to Instagram, gave a 15 minute address to his fans (followers? supporters? what are we calling them?) from his office a mere 48 hours after his death where the focus was on continuing his legacy with Turning Point and thanking Trump and Vance, again, with no actual tears being shed, was announced as new CEO of TP and seemingly approved fundraising emails to be sent using her husband's death as a money making opportunity, entered a stage to pyrotechnics at a memorial service where they were selling merchandise, and then gave another speech in which she pretended to cry but no actual tears were shed. The whole thing feels like an act.

I am VERY CONSERVATIVE and totally agree with this. She is a grifter trying to milk people for money over her husband's casket.

It’s all so bad, the conflicting evidence, odd players involved, the theatrics, I almost think Charlie is still alive.

I wish this were true. I disagreed with most things he said, but when I think of his kids... I wish this were true.

Interesting. The obit for her has a murky European "orphan" background, intel-esque "blind date" courtship, and super fast marriage, too. The governor was filthy rich and they married as he was sworn into office. Very weird.

+1

Asking for money over your dead husband's casket is not respectable.

Quite the Mafia jewelry look going there.

Right? It's giving... Sharon Stone's gaudy character in "Casino" (1995) and how she pretend to love the rich sucker she married, while she was stealing all of his money and jewelry to give to her sleazy pimp.

Yeah. My first thought was either she’s from New Jersey or the stories about her being an Eastern European honeypot are true. That’s a very niche look.

She doesn't have stage fright, she is a seasoned actress with main character narcissism. She also faked being nervous when Charlie brought her on his radio show when they got engaged. She's crazy. Reminds me so much of Megan Markle, down to both pairs being set up by a Zionist mutual friend.

Allegedly grew up in Ohio, before divorced mom and her moved to Arizona, followed by divorced dad. Who knows if that's true, everything about her has been wiped off the internet.

Nobody found it weird the wife was the star of the funeral and his parents and his 29-yo sister were nowhere to be found? Are his parents and sister estranged from Charlie's widow? Typically a 30-something daughter in law is going to be pretty close to a 29-yo sister of her spouse.

I was with you until you said "liberals". You are on an anonymous website full of trolls. Check YOUR bias. FFS.

Outside of criticizing Erika Kirk, I give a little grace to liberals right now in light of the fact that the POTUS, VP, and all their very powerful cronies are putting a big fat X on all liberals' back right now, even though they are NOT responsible for this killing. CK was not a great guy. No one has to pretend he was a great guy to also agree vehemently that his murder was wrong and horrible. Not to mention, if you do not feel total outrage for all the horrific things people on the right have said in cases of political violence against Democrats/liberals, you can shove your performative horror.

If you want to be outraged, save that for the current administration's blatant and disgusting use of the death of a human being to call for MORE political violence, unjustly demonize a large group of Americans who had nothing to do with this murder, and score political points. Political points for a man's life. That is truly awful.

Another coincidence, what are the odds of having a doppelgänger with the same name? She was referred to as Madame X in Palm Beach, who else lived in Palm Beach?

Maybe they’re actually sad and don’t want to perform in a dog and pony show to make other people richer. They might just be better people than Charlie and all these grifters.

Did anyone also catch when Erika referred to Charlie as ‘Charles’ in one of her speeches?
