Metro and HYS Alliance

I thought HYS was sending their players to Arlington?

I just saw on Twitter. I have not heard a word from our club

From Metro's perspective, I can at least understand what Herndon brings. But VA Revolution? I'm still scratching my head over that.

How many official alliance relationships has Metro attempted and successfully executed? Wonder why they aren’t working out?

I guess Herndon is looking for a set of B teams to complement its A teams in each girls age group, like GFR.

They are working out. If the goal is to take the truly standout player(s) then more teams feeding is better for all the clubs.

What are they gonna be called so I know who is gonna finish last in all the age groups?

HYS can have two discovery players per age group with Arlington.

HYS also has an agreement with Metro that will let them send some players there as discovery players. I’m not sure of the exact number

Why would anyone want to go to MU? The traffic should flow toward HYS.

Are you a paid troll?

VA Revolution is better than Herndon

If I were a Herndon (girl) parent and reasonably content with the experience and the choice is: A) Stick with Total Futbol or B) Stick with HYS...I think all of these partnerships HYS is forming would push me to stay with TF. Am I wrong?

I understand the rationale, thats not at all unique to Metro. I have to question if all the alliances are really working out? Do the “truly stand out players” end up as full time satisfied metro customers? Or do they take advantage of the extra sessions, the invites to games, and get to see Metro in true form?

I’ve heard second-hand - but from someone who is plugged in - that at least one existing partner clubs doesn’t feel it’s been positive for the club...which may be why Metro is adding partners?

Glad to know there’s a leak in the group.
