| No trips to SC--what a relief! |
| Got any screenshots or e-mails? |
| Clubs are announcing to relevant teams... |
| It’s probably for non HS age groups |
| NOVA should be with MD, B-More, and Philly. Richmond should be with VB, Raleigh, and points south. Larger land mass down there, but for Richmond they can go 85 or 95 to get there quickly. |
What don’t you get? High school seasons are different. |
That is boys only I believe. |
Correct girls are not paired and will go to SC |
What is the rationale for this? Girls and boys play the same HS seasons. |
Not exactly true. Privates and Publics in VA are on different seasons so it really doesn’t matter at this point as no matter what some kids are out of luck... |
| If you don't provide a source, or specify girls or boys, I don't believe you. |
| I have heard this from families at several different ECNL clubs, both in VA and NC/SC. SC ECNL is picking up a Charleston club and will be playing in the conference with Georgia; the 10 or so NC teams will make up the “South” division of the Mid-Atlantic conference, and the now 10 or so VA/MD teams will make up the “North” division. They’ll have to figure out scheduling around differing high school schedules, which is nothing new to the boys in the Mid-Atlantic conference. I am sure the girls will figure it out, too. |
No such thing |
Yeah. Our private HS conference has soccer as a Fall sport in the DMV (Va/dc/md teams). MD public is Fall. VA public is Spring. We have a mix of players from all of those HS scenarios on our Club team. (VA/MD/Private) |
Exactly true. 100 percent true. Factually true. Let me guess, you figured out how you want it so the world will conform. |
