Smoking weed in public near bus stop

There's a guy who sits near a bus stop smoking weed during the afternoon. Kids are getting out of school, and people off the bus. It's shit like this that make me hate legalization of marijuana. Other than calling the police, what other recourse would I have? It's right near a school.

What do you think he’s going to do, OP? Force the kids to take a hit off his blunt? It’s not like he’s shooting up heroin ffs.

As long as he’s minding his own business and not causing a scene, it’s not a big deal. Weed is legal and I doubt the kids even notice.

Weed is legal to some extent in way more than half the country now. You think that this type of public smoking is tolerated in every jurisdiction? No way. Don't blame the concept of legal weed. Blame the lazy and incompetent DC cops.

Lol I drive 7th Street/Georgia Avenue to and from work and I swear I can get a contact high. But it’s legal in DC so what are you going to do? They aren’t forcing people to smoke, if it’s legal it’s no different than smoking a cigarette in a public area.
