Question is gonna boil down to depth. Who has it, as it will be very physical. |
Don’t see Prep within 7 of this SJC team. |
| SJC practices all year, but IAC schools are not allowed to practice until season starts. |
both teams are full of year-round lax bros. |
|
To their credit, the core 2022 of this SJC team has played together year round for many years, with a lot of club overlap, which is one of the reasons for their dominance. May play out similarly for the DC Dog/Prep 23 class once this SJC/Hawks 22 class graduates.
Is there anything like that dynamic in 24 or 25, with a dominant club team concentrated at one of the local privates? Or are they more dispersed? |
It will be interesting to see who SJC has step in for the 2 midfielders no longer on the team. They also have a couple players that are due back from injury. Not sure if those players will be on the field for the first few games. March 4th coming fast. |
| Too much hype for SJC. The expectations will be a pressure cooker for that team. They will fall short and end up 3rd or 4th in DMV. |
|
SJC
They max out their 12 hours a week every week. Four 3 hour practices a week since September 1. |
Clearly you don’t know the players. |
Lol |
| How preps defense? Any good? |
The best. |
|
Prep's defense is probably their Achilles heel this season. However, with how dominant their fogo is, I think their overall defensive problems can easily be "masked"
|
| its not the settled defense that will be the issue but rather the transitional, and can their mids handle it |
FOGO needs to stay healthy. Was beat up last year. |
