Um he said "white nationalist". Why did you edit that word out?

But now it's headed in that direction

Trump will pardon him.

What about a brown nationalist? What does Wikipedia say about that?

Nationalist = racist

According to whom?
That's not what Wikipedia says.

That would end very poorly for Trump.

Trump can't pardon state crimes.

That's true, but Trump could pardon him if DOJ charges this guy for civil rights offenses. But he won't. Not even Trump is that stupid.

There are many Blacks who also claim to be "sovereign citizens." The most prominent group is the Moorish Science Temple, but there are many others. I argued many cases against them, usually about their refusal to pay taxes because they say that they are not subject to American laws. Probably the most interesting case I had dealt with a White couple who came home after a trip and found their locks had been changed. They called the police, who broke in and arrested a Black man and wife who had claimed that they had the right to occupy White people's homes because their sovereignty predates that of Whites. I represented the police whom the people who were arrested sued, claiming that the police had unlawfully entered "a state of Moorish affairs."

Hmmm. Sure sounds like a white nationalist asshole group to me. Timothy McVeigh, the asshole who blew up a daycare center? They can all go to hell.

It sounds exactly like a White nationalist group, except it's Black. I don't know which group came up with the idea of "sovereign citizen" first. The Moorish Science Temple has been using it since the 1920s. HINT: it is useless to try to research the Moorish Science Temple on Wikipedia. Wikipedia, though it makes a lot of mistakes, is a useful starting point to research many things. But Wikipedia is useless for researching any cult or cult leader. If you try to research either a cult or a cult leader, whether it's Scientology, Maher Baba, or the Moorish Science Temple, Wikipedia will just tell you how wonderful the group is. Every cult carefully watches what goes on to Wikipedia. To make it look real, the Wikipedia article will usually have a section called "controversies," but will proceed to explain why the controversy wasn't real.

Trump could pardon him for federal civil rights offenses, but he can't pardon him for the murder that Virginia will charge him with.

Um, looks like the killer has been medically diagnosed with mental illness since childhood. How does that change things?

Yet he was in the military? He had a drivers license?

May not change anything. Depends on whether he knows the difference between right and wrong at the time of the crime. Educate yourself.

Bet he could buy a gun, too.

Did anyone else catch the Trump's Q&A at Trump Tower? Thirty seconds discussing infrastructure and the rest of the time defending Nazis. There's a pic of John Kelly during the session that is epic-- I'm pretty sure he's praying for divine intervention.
