Another ICE Shooting in Minnesota

He has been doing this 8 years and presumably hasn't killed someone in cold blood before, at least in public. Not a new recruit with no training. So what was he thinking? I am not trying to justify anything. Just purely curious.

Also, other than trying to block the appropriation bills, which doesn't sound like it would do much anyways, what else can democrats do?

And can Minneapolis bring charges against this guy (and the last guy?). I know feds are not cooperating but can they legally prosecute? It seems in this case, there is plenty of evidence to convict.

When the deceased man was struggling with federal agents, one of the agents saw his gun and yelled “gun”. I believe one of the agents removed the deceased man’s gun during the struggle, but not all of the agents knew that. When the agents are searching the man’s body after he passed, one of them is heard asking “where’s the gun?”

These are trying to do a dangerous job and have protestors/rioters constantly in their faces. They were faced with a man resisting arrest who possessed a gun. I believe that was their mindset.

It’s not a dangerous job.

Is what these people are doing constitutionally protected protest? They are actively attempting to impede and obstruct federal law enforcement activities. That’s not a constitutionally protected right. IMO, the two deaths we have seen are a tragic consequence of a party telling their supporters to interject themselves into dangerous federal law enforcement operations. It’s not a safe environment for anyone.

You know, when a patient is in active psychosis and EVEN NOT restrained in an ER, if someone yells "Gun!", the doctors and nurses aren't allowed to put 10 bullets into him. Why is that?

Law enforcement is a dangerous job, especially in this country where people are armed.

Yes, but these men were not in danger. At all. At most they had poorly communicated the fact that the gun had already exited the situation. He was legally allowed to carry that gun, by the way. None of that justified his murder.

Pretti had been incapacitated by pepper spray and was being held by several agents.

Your argument will not hold. They were in no danger

Also, why sooooooo many shots at Pretti?

Here's the thing. Now that we know what happened, why can't Trump and Noem apologize for the mistake?

He was NOT resisting arrest. They had already pepper sprayed him in the eyes so he might have been thrashing around a bit, but he was NOT resisting arrest. Stop lying. As to to him having a gun--rules for me but not for thee, right?

They aren’t law enforcement. To be legitimately called law enforcement, you must uphold the law. This is an untrained street gang doing the bidding of their fascist masters.

They are cowards. His hands were on the floor the entire time. He never reached for his gun.

When have they ever apologized? They will double down. The character assassination of the victim will begin.

Some new developments, on the legal front if nothing else:

Nurse is a more dangerous job in the US.

Patient assaults on them, workplace injuries, infectious exposures, and more.

Had not ICE acted correctly, the news may have been reporting the deaths of ICE agents, to which the leftists and anti-Americans would be clapping and cheering.

I see the new far-right talking points have arrived and they're...anti Second Amendment
Advising someone not to come armed and hot headed against experienced gunslingers is not anti-2nd Amendment.

Hot headed? He was trying to protect a woman from the ICE thugs!

Np. Gun-toting maga are the most hotheaded people on the planet. I once saw a restaurant clear out because a 2A guy had his hand on his gun while screaming at a server because his food took too long.

Pp doesn’t get to twist this. Poor maga is finding out that many democrats have always been gun owners/carriers. They just don’t mind proving aptitude and being accountable for those guns. Amazing how this event has caused the 2A narrative to completely flip. The 2A exists for exactly what is happening in this country right now. But now they are all “Well you shouldn’t carry when you are in a mood.” Lol
