It’s not a dangerous job. |
Is what these people are doing constitutionally protected protest? They are actively attempting to impede and obstruct federal law enforcement activities. That’s not a constitutionally protected right. IMO, the two deaths we have seen are a tragic consequence of a party telling their supporters to interject themselves into dangerous federal law enforcement operations. It’s not a safe environment for anyone. |
You know, when a patient is in active psychosis and EVEN NOT restrained in an ER, if someone yells "Gun!", the doctors and nurses aren't allowed to put 10 bullets into him. Why is that? |
Law enforcement is a dangerous job, especially in this country where people are armed. |
+1 including armed ER guards |
Yes, but these men were not in danger. At all. At most they had poorly communicated the fact that the gun had already exited the situation. He was legally allowed to carry that gun, by the way. None of that justified his murder. |
Pretti had been incapacitated by pepper spray and was being held by several agents. Your argument will not hold. They were in no danger Also, why sooooooo many shots at Pretti? |
| Here's the thing. Now that we know what happened, why can't Trump and Noem apologize for the mistake? |
They aren’t law enforcement. To be legitimately called law enforcement, you must uphold the law. This is an untrained street gang doing the bidding of their fascist masters. |
They are cowards. His hands were on the floor the entire time. He never reached for his gun. |
When have they ever apologized? They will double down. The character assassination of the victim will begin. |

Nurse is a more dangerous job in the US. Patient assaults on them, workplace injuries, infectious exposures, and more. |
Np. Gun-toting maga are the most hotheaded people on the planet. I once saw a restaurant clear out because a 2A guy had his hand on his gun while screaming at a server because his food took too long. Pp doesn’t get to twist this. Poor maga is finding out that many democrats have always been gun owners/carriers. They just don’t mind proving aptitude and being accountable for those guns. Amazing how this event has caused the 2A narrative to completely flip. The 2A exists for exactly what is happening in this country right now. But now they are all “Well you shouldn’t carry when you are in a mood.” Lol |
