Kenyon is still higher ranked as of now, but Denison has trucked past the other Ohio LACs and will soon catch Kenyon. It's also less woke and more politically balanced. It would be my choice.

I like both, but for my not-super-athletic but also not an activist boy who cares about academic, I'd pick Denison.

If I had a bookish girl (like me), it would be Kenyon.

Need more information about the student. Otherwise, which coast does the student prefer ?

Regarding school spirit/athletics/entertainment: Stanford got a raw deal with the collapse of the Pac-12 Conference as it had to work out an arrangement with the cross-country ACC. Princeton competes in the Ivy League. Might be fun to travel to Penn, Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Yale, Brown, and Cornell to support the Princeton athletic teams.

Has the accepted applicant visited both schools ?

Florida A&M is where the daughter of Gizelle, the real housewives of Potomac, is attending. Of course, not the reason to choose a college, but when I saw FAMU I remembered that. It's not a college that you often see discussed on these boards.

True. And Gizelle went to Hampton.

Visited both, still undecided. Obviously very different. Find it interesting that so many are arguing for Stanford.

Wow - I didn't realize that the twins were already seniors in college. Angelina Jolie's daughter is also going to Spelman.

Politics, Econ. Maybe middle eastern studies, but possibly policy or journalism or higher ed so can’t look took narrowly.

Georgetown will be full fare even when my second kid starts in two years, which seems crazy even if it’s possibly the best academically. ND would come down. The others are manageable from the jump

Georgetown SFS, if you can pay for it. It’s the best in its class hands down. The network as well.

Cambridge.

Tutor system is incredible. 3 years instead of four. Top for prestige and Harry Potter wow factor. Two words: the backs.

Shocked by the numbers of parents willingly allowing journalism majors. Would NOT pay for this - nor encourage anyone to enter that ‘profession’ mostly defined now by Hannity types.
