Where have kids already been admitted?

And we got an admissions decision in 10 days. Feeling very happy to have a very good option on the table.

FWIW, DS is not totally organized and a bunch of emails about applications (including some needing additional action, as well as this admission email) had apparently been in spam folders for a while after Jan. 1. Might be worth checking with your DC.

Good luck everyone. We're feeling happy to have some workable options that would even leave lots of money in the bank for grad school.

That's great news!!! Congrats!!!!

GMU -but deferred for honors program which is what DS really wanted. They won’t notify until April 1st if she gets a spot. Will likely go to another school.

Can you give us a general idea of stats? Campus is super close to San Jose airport and there are non-stops to DC area. Congratulations!

Strong grades (3.86), okay but not awesome SAT. Fairly focused ECs which essay helped to tiie together. Thank you for the information about flights into Santa Clara. Just learned we have a family friend who is a sophomore at SCU and is loving it.

This is great! All excellent schools. I hear it’s really hard to get in Clemson. Do you mind sharing stats? DS waiting and hoping for Clemson.

Not PP but my DS got into Clemson too, with merit (but I wouldn’t call significant), 3.84uw, 4.45w 32 ACT on one try. Pretty strong EC but not over the top.

Those are excellent stats! My DS’s are not that high. Did your son choose Clemson? I think my son will hear in February. I heard some kids get in early but it’s the high stats kids like your son.
