The Talk put on hiatus thanks to Sharon Osbourne

She maligned a colleague on live TV and apparently is refusing to step aside. Her contract keeps her in place and so the only option left is to cancel the whole show.

WOW.

This is the conversation that got her in deep shit -- really...blowing up your career over Piers Morgan

She asked for an example of him saying racists stuff. I didn’t hear any examples....

So no example, then blame Sharon. Wow

That show was awful anyways.

You heard the co-host. It was the implication, reaction, and imo - the tone - for his complete dismissal of Meghan Markle as well as his absurd hounding.

If Sharon is confused, she can do a quick Google search. Demanding a black woman to explain why this extreme white man is racist? It doesn’t make Sharon racist but her privilege and ignorance shines.

Maybe so but I feel bad for Elaine Welteworth. She must be pissed - just became a co-host in December 2020.

So if someone doesn’t like your "tone" you’re a racist. Seems legit. So he doesn’t like Meghan, and? Is he required to?

Can we cancel “The View” too? Pretty please??

I thought Sharon gave Sheryl an opportunity to explain where she heard Piers making racist comments. “Educate me” is a way to give somebody an opportunity to explain themselves. If everyone in the world reads into implications, reactions, and tone, there are going to be a lot of disgruntled people. Why can’t people just be taken at face value for the words they actually use—not how someone feels or interprets those words.

Excellent request. Those cackling hens are a sh*tshow.

The view has been weird since Julie “moonves” found the lord and decided to stand by her man.

No. Educate me is a demand that someone do work for you when if you weren't so set in your world views and obstinate - you would have seen it already yourself.

Educate me is a demand to take your thoughts, actions, and history on the subject and condense it for a person who couldn't be bothered to think beyond their own circumstances.

Educate me is nothing but a gaslighting tactic and Sharon, if she hasn't been blind for 3 years, is well aware of what her 'friend' Pierce has been doing this whole time.

Yes! Thank you for saying what I couldn’t articulate.

Are threads regarding this topic being deleted or I just can’t see them?

They may be investigating Holly Robinson Pete’s claim that Sharon said she was too “ghetto” for the Talk.

Sharon responded by publishing an email sent to her by Holly after Holly was fired. The email clearly says Julie Chen was the culprit.

Perhaps CBS is looking to get rid of Sharon and/or Julie.
