I like Stuff You Should Know, This American Life, Heavyweight, Criminal, Don't Ask Tig, Tig and Cheryl True Story (I usually dislike chatty podcasts but they are hilarious). Snap Judgment and Ear Hustle. I also love longform stories that cover a story, like Down The Hill about the Delphi, IN murders.

Are you listening to Through the Cracks, about Relisha Rudd? THere's a thread on it (but it's in the DCPS forum because that's how the story started). It's an infuriating listen, but I think important if you're in DC to understand how our systems (don't) work.

| In some DCUM thread someone mentioned podcast "You're Wrong About." I love it! Binged the last two years of episodes! |
I love "You're Wrong About". Mike has a new-ish podcast called "Maintenance Phase" that is also great tackling health/wellness industry myths and marketing. |

I've heard I'm not a Monster is really good -I've only listened to the first episode.
Also - off topic from your list, really, but I really like NPR's Pop culture happy hour. It's every day, but very short, and it's just a little pop of usually intriguing pop culture happenings - they cover books, music, movies, TV. I've gotten good ideas from there, and when they've covered something I've loved, I've enjoyed their brief, usually spoiler free analysis. Bear Brook is an older podcast, but really well done about a very complicated case. Definitely worth a listen. Norco 80 just wrapped up and it was good, but not great. Dr. Death had a season 2. Dateline is coming out with a new podcast Mommy Doomsday that looks promising. |

Op here. I have not heard of Through the Cracks but I think I read about that story here on dcum. I'll give it a listen.
I sometimes listen to You're Wrong About. I loved the episodes about the Wayfair child trafficking and losing people to Fox News. |
| Try Risk. Great stories. The Moth is sometimes good, too, but a little uneven. Sometimes the Daily, sometimes Criminal, sometimes The Secret Room. |
That was probably me. It is so great. Right now I’m enjoying American Scandal. And just finished Axios’s How It Happened which was really good. |
Me too! Started with the Diana episodes and have expanded from there. So good. |

You would love Reply All. I enjoy all the ones you lost and it’s been my favorite for years. It’s slice of life with a tech/internet culture slant and the two guys that host it have great chemistry and really make it. It’s on a hiatus right now due to some controversy but there’s a ton of episodes to go back and listen to. I recommend starting with #79 Boy in Photo.
There’s only one season of this one but they’re all amazing—Mystery Show by Starlee Klein. She sets out to solve random mundane mysteries. One of the hosts of You’re Wrong About is doing a new podcast with someone else called Maintenance Phase critiquing diet/weight loss culture that is really eye opening and interesting. |
| Wind of Change is great. It's about whether the CIA is behind that song by the Scorpions |
|
Easy Listening, the podcast about podcasts (hosts discuss various podcasts they love and how they relate to the hosts’ lives)

I am assuming you listened to S-Town. If you haven't then jump on that!
American Scandal Real Crime Profile Specific crimes- Gladiator about Aaron Hernandez, Dirty John, Chasing Cosby. I just started Unraveled about the Long Island Serial Killer. Not sure how I feel about it yet but interested because I am from there. For trash talk-pure entertainment and laughter-Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald. |
