| I enjoy Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History, particular his series on ancient kings. |

Fortunately... with Fi and Jane
BBC produces so many interesting podcasts. I love history, nonfiction. Lots to choose from. |

The Rewatchables (if you’re into movies)
Overheard at National Geographic John Brown’s Body Terrible, Thanks for Asking Dolly Parton’s America Dying for Sex The Steam Room (if you’re into sports at all — it’s Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson and they’re a hoot) |
| Movie Therapy - people write in with questions about issues they are facing and the hosts give a little advice + movie/tv recommendations. There's also a segment where a listener says they've watched X and liked it, what should they watch next. I've gotten a lot of great recommendations from it. |

the Chamaleon was good. And the Shrink Next Door

I have liked ...
Believed about the Larry Nasser gymnastics abuse Nice White Parents Moonface. It's fiction, and really unique! |
| I like a lot of the podcasts in this thread, and I'm currently into Switched on Pop. The Taylor Swift episodes were my gateway, but I'm hopping around in their archives currently. |
| Enjoyed the 30 for 30 about the Karolyis, the Diana Taurasi-Sue Bird playing in Russia, and Madden's Game. |
| I just listened to a podcast called The Promise. Two seasons. The host speaks with residents in a large public housing development in the middle of a rapidly gentrifying east Nashville. One of them best podcast I have ever heard. I think it will remind a lot of folks about what’s happening in DC. |
| Smartness is excellent! Jason Bateman, Will Arnet, and Sean Hayes |

I like book and movie recaps. Currently I'm working through several by "The Armadillo Podcasting Club." They are recapping The Wheel of Time, Harry Potter, and the Sookie Stackhouse books.
Also like Heaving Bosoms (romance books), Disaster Girls (disaster and creature movies), Movie Briefs (legal movies), and Red Taped (management and leadership books I'll never actually read but should). And sometimes Why Are Dads, by the You're Wrong About crew. |
| The root of evil was unreal 😳 s/town is awesome. And paper ghosts. |
| Cum Town (focused on elevator science and train whistles) |
Found Watch What Crappens from this site and Ben & Ronnie are hilarious. They periodically branch out from Bravo Shows (Mare of Eastown most recently). If I want something light hearted even if I haven't watched the show, I know I will be cracking up from their impressions along the way. I know this is an older one but this still remains in the news: Escaping NXIVM |
| Family Secrets, Juicy Scoop, Believed |
