The first 10+ topics are about APS.
Great. I was not in favor of splitting FCPS off. |
Well ACPS and FCC are tiny schools, and LCPS and PWPS are not really urban and don’t post much here. What did you expect? |
Sorry ACPS is 1/2 size of APS so not tiny. My apologies. But still is likely to be less represented because of that and other factors. |
Currently among the top ten (excluding this one) are two posts generally to all via schools and one about acps. Further down are ones about LCPS and FCCPS too. |
So you would rather this be a FCPS forum? |
At least we can **see** the LCPS and FCCPS posts now.
It’s been great. |
OP here. I'm in LCPS and I feel that FCPS and LCPS have a lot of overlapping issues so I liked FCPS people seeing the LCPS posts. Its true that not a lot of LCPS respond, but there will be signficantly fewer responses now.
It just stinks. It just doesn't seem like its going to be a useful forum any longer for me, since I'm not welcome to post my questions on the FCPS forum. |
why don't you just stick with the FCPS thread then? Nobody is forcing you here, right ? |
On the internet you can be whoever you want to be. No one is stopping you from posting on FCPS if it’s relevant. |
APS is small but full of angry liberal teachers and woke parents so they tell the most |
So create topics about your school system and people will engage. My kid is in APS so I have no questions about nor answers for Alexandria, Falls Church City, Loudoun, etc. I personally didn't think that Fairfax needed a separate forum AND AAP, but whatever. If Jeff finds the traffic supports it, that's his decision. |
That's not really how Jeff decides. If you look at some of the newer forums, they just don't have much traffic. Traffic isn't a deciding issue, one way or the other. I don't like the split. If enough of us ask Jeff to undo the split and merge the Nova Schools Forum, he'll consider it. |
DP. So you want to kick LCPS out too? |
I fail to see how this affects you in any way. Just read "recent topics" where they're all merged in (except explicit and politics). All a separate forum is is a tagging schema to help people focus in on what they're interested in. |
? No one is stopping you from posting topics. |
