| Or does your husband or other men still find you attractive? |
| I HATE the word chubby |
|
Depends on age i think. And your own standards for dating partners.

I'm chubby, married a skinny guy who loves the eff out of me in my 20s (when I was still fat!). He still is attracted to me and loves me and I am actually much less fat now.
Believe in your own worth <3 |
| I am overweight-ish, DH is very fit, he finds me attractive. |
|
Women - not on your life
Men - yes |
| Chubby Chasers 👍 |
Me too. And I’m thin |
But it's just a word? Why would you hate something you're not? |
| Is chubby just a little overweight? I know morbidly obese people married to other morbidly obese people. They seem to be happily married. |
| Are you a weirdo who is obsessed with other people's weights? Why would you even care about this? You do you! |
It sounds so demeaning. Reminds me of mean girls or an ultra critical mother |
| Everyone is chubby these days so it shouldn’t be a problem. Was more of an issue when I was dating in the 90’s though. |
Agree. I was teased for being fat and called porky by kids. Porker or porky were acceptable terms in tv and movies back then. I wasn't even that fat but 10 or 15lbs over. I was also called chubby by kids. As an adult I don't really care for anything that refers to being fat. You're fat you're fat, chubby, a porker or whatever. It however really bothers me when bigger people refer to me as too skinny or looking sick when I am at a normal healthy weight. |
Develop a thick skin. The word chubby is a cuter version of fat. |
