I had to drive out to McLean and Reston this morning for a few errands and I noticed those “don’t tread on me” snake license plates everywhere.
Are there really that many Q-Anon/Proud Boy types in this area? I was shocked by how many I saw. |
| Those license plates predate Q anon, and I don’t think the owners are necessarily as bad as proud boys and q anon, but I am surprised at how many I see around here. |
| My DH is as liberal and progressive as they come, and thinks the Gadsden flag is cool. I don't think he'd have gotten the plate, but I could definitely see people getting it years ago because they liked the look irrespective of the roots. |
Even now after the insurrection? |
|
We are everywhere.

Where's the roach spray when you need it... sigh. |
“Intentional misuse of this product in any manner inconsistent with labeling is a violation of federal law” So you’d be a felon. |
| It became available in 2012 and appeals to young men who like to think of themselves as libertarians, but it's not specifically associated with Q-Anon or government overthrow. Was popular with the Tea Party crowd when that was a thing. You see it on a lot of Dodge Chargers, for pretty much the same reasons that people buy Dodge Chargers. |
Yes, clearly the proper way to handle PP is to flush him. Anyone know a plumber who can get a giant turd down the toilet? |
|
I noticed the lawn mowing co.’s truck has that plate’s theme.
Thinking about not renewing the contract. |
I never thought I'd be defending the Tea Party folks, but they are not the same as QAnon. There may be overlap, but they are not the same at all. |
| I see a lot of those souped-up really loud Subarus and Hondas with this plate. I think it’s basically the young man’s way of giving the proverbial finger to others. It’s what they do. |
OP here - I saw on lots of trucks and SUVs. And a minivan.

That’s a lot of fancy words to just say “yes they are white male and racists”. |
It’s a bunch of white males who are racist and don’t care to show it. |
