Anyone get in?

If so, it would be great if people shared whether or not they provided test scores.

Can you share stats and whether you included test scores?

Sorry, someone asked about test scores. Yes she submitted SAT (1420).

4.53 GPA (4.0 UW). 12 or so APS. Six years foreign language including AP Spanish. Ranked in top 10 of class at Loudoun County public.

This isn’t looking good. Decisions have been out for 30 minutes, there have been 140 thread views, and we’ve confirmed one acceptance. Are we all embracing our students and telling them to move on?

Dean J:

A couple notes:
1. I do not have additional statistics. I know people want to see how many students were admitted without testing. I was not given that number.

Early Action Applications
Total number of Early Action applications: 28,897 (25,160 last year)
Total number of VA apps: 7,849
Total number of OOS apps: 21,048
We use completed applications in our statistics.

Early Action Offers
Overall offers: 6,186
Total VA offers: 2,380 (30% offer rate)
Total OOS offers: 3,806 (18% offer rate)
Enrollment Goal: ~3,750
It's misleading to average these offer rates together because residency is a major factor in our review. If you are going to share these numbers, cite BOTH offer rates.

DD got in. Her scores/GPA/AP load were pretty much identical to earlier poster, only change is we are in Fairfax and they do not rank students./
