This isn't what she was talking about. She testified to putting a second FRONT DOOR on the house in 2012. Different permit - might have even been a different house.

They should seek therapy and protest through legal channels rather than harassing and cornering an innocent man in an elevator. Excuse me if I don’t think that these bullies were heroes. And BTW, I say this as a sexual assault victim.

Who had her claim tossed because LEO’s always believe “minorities” over white women, as you just posted?

Sen. Graham’s quote was more than fair to use, especially as you are using your alleged survivor status to criticize other survivors and their legal right to approach a government representative.

-I thought they, the FBI, had considered and decided no. I brought this up yesterday but it got lost in the massive Part 2 thread.
-as I’ve heard legal experts suggest (liberal ones too!), the FBI doesn’t judge on the matter. You will still have 98% probability that no conclusion will be made. The 2% chance is worth it I suppose but as I heard someone on LRC put it, the FBI isn’t “magical.”
-what is their exact jurisdiction on this? In the way they investigate cases, they don’t usually take on 35yo cases in which no charges were filed. (Educate me here)

The FBI wasn't asked after these allegations were made and (like in the Anita Hill case asked by Pres Bush) they would conduct an investigation if the president asked
They don't reach conclusions but would corroborate or refute what the allegations are... adding proof to her case or not, which would help Senators decide which way to vote.

Here’s the deal: there is no proof. They would interview BK CBF, Judge, Leland keyser. That’s been done. What proof? What proof exists after 36 years?

No it has not been done. If you think Mike "determined to confirm" Davis is running an investigation, I have a bridge to sell you.

You do understand that the FISAs were gotten via the same type of sworn testimony/letters that Keyser, Judge, etc signed, right? They were good enough then.

The FISAs were only to allow surveillance and had to be renewed regularly. This is a lifetime appointment.

Can't wait to hear Graham's latest tantrum on the potential delay.

They didn’t harass him!!! We still live in a world where we can speak to our elected officials!! Giving your opinion to an elected official is actually a part of the franchise of democracy!

No one has criticized his wife’s appearance, as far as I’ve seen.

Trump signed the CR, so the government doesn't shut down tomorrow.

Merrick Garland has about as much chance of ending up on the Supreme Court as Avenatti. Give it up folks. You know, if the left hadn't decided to use the Supreme Court as a legislative body for 30 something years (Warren court to Roe) maybe Conservatives wouldn't have figured out they could turn it into an activist branch for them too. You do, in fact, reap what ya sow.

I had assumed she was a sexual assault victim, but no, she is the Co-Director of leftest Center for Popular Democracy, based in NYC which works on immigrant rights. She got the media to fly her down, protest and storm the building w their press pass -- all on camera, of course.

Ford will reiterate that though she doesn’t remember much else, shes 100% sure BK was the one who assaulted her. It will still be down to credibility

But won't they question Mark Judge at that point?

I would think they need to question:

Mark Judge

All of the men and women listed on his calendar in 1982. (The Post reported that his GP classmates made a vow to not speak on the record about him.)

Whelan

Chris Garret - not only about that summer, but if he knew he was being framed

The people who wrote testimony about Ford

The friends who have made character statements on social media

And, on...

No one needs to be questioned. Ford says it was definitely him. That's the end of it.

I agree that she is credible (I believe her version entirely), however if there is an investigation it will only help her. Preferably the Republicans nominate someone else. It seems like it would be smart for them politically because they would get another conservative justice, but it would also stem the blue wave. I'd be happy with that. I'd wait for a blue wave to not have someone so despicable on the court.

Yes, an investigation would only help her. I'm sure you are correct. It's burned into her memory that it was Kavanaugh. We know that's always infallible.

FWIW, I am that PP. I was luring out someone like you. She was not credible. Her story was full of holes and she relied on scientific words to try to explain why she would never forget. Furthermore, when gently pushed through questioning, not only could she not answer most of them, she turned to her lawyers with a deer in headlights. She could not even remember which day she took the lie detector test, DESPITE THE FACT THERE WAS A NARROW WINDOW OF DAYS IN WHICH TO CHOOSE - TWO.

The only thing despicable here are the women on this forum, who gleefully attacked his wife's physical appearance and her marriage. I'm surprised none of you went after his daughters. Nothing surprises me anymore regarding the people in this area. Disgusting lot and I'm sure so many of you here are also federal employees to boot.

Are you a PP who posted a crazy whine about someone from then DC area criticizing a craft item, therefore all DC area women are terrible?

They did not speak to him at a private restaurant. They went to his place of work at a senate office building which they and we all pay for.
