Any Pride girls show to Heros tryout?

Any non-Pride impact player show up?

Yes. Great NL middie

Hopefully they don’t make her play defense.

She will be second string D if she makes it. Should stay in DMV and try for Capital.

If she can’t make Hero’s, she won’t make Capital.

So a composite team primarily comprised of a crappy Stars 2028 team and a good Pride 2028 team is better than Heros? Sorry, but that is perplexing.

Hero’s and Pride play tight games currently. There’s no doubt that a Pride/Stars combo team would beat Hero’s easily.

It only works that way if Stars weaknessses is Pride strength and vice versa.

Stars has a good attacker that would improve Pride. Even that might be enough for Pride to beat Hero's.

Any Pride girls show to Heros tryout?

Not Heros but M&D.

Was it one of their top 5 players?

Yes

Lovely. Let's see how well this ages.

What do you mean?

The immaturity levels of some, if not most, of the recent posters cannot be charted.

Why do you act like playing defense is a “demotion” There’s nothing wrong with playing defense. actually more middies would benefit from playing defense. a huge issue in girls youth lacrosse, offense loves to shoot and score but suck at sliding and keeping up on the defensive side of the field. Seems dumb for a NL girl to go to Heros and then move to Capital next year.

Never underestimate the ability of some parents to overestimate the ability of their daughters.

I'd say good rather than great. She's a good attacker.

SD is clearly back in action.

Obsessed much. All you do is talk about this SD person. I’m personally tired of you constantly bringing SD up. Why don’t you focus on lacrosse and talk to your counselor about your obsession with SD

Folks - There is a former BLC 28 dad on here who moved his DD to Hero’s a few years back and now tries to malign DMV clubs to justify his decision. He wants everyone to think girls are leaving the DMV for Md in search of better competition (they’re not). He wants people to think Capital will shut its doors because he took his daughter to Hero’s (they won’t). He thinks no team in the DMV will match Hero’s recruiting strength (he’s wrong). Best to keep his M.O. in mind when reading his posts.

This is interesting. Thank you for this information, as I did not know any of this

Hero’s is best at recruiting, and so is Capital. Why can’t they both be good at recruiting? Why can’t parents just find the right situation for their kid and be happy

Brutal. 150 tried out at Capital. Heard between 8-11 goalies. Emails have already been sent to the girls
