DP. People are allowed to talk about which ever election issues they want in this thread. I get that you don’t want people to discuss abortion because Youngkin’s views are highly unpopular and would make it difficult for him to get elected if they became well-known, but that doesn’t mean you have any authority whatsoever to stifle discussion of abortion and force people to only discuss issues where you believe Youngkin compares favorably.

DP and I am ready to deal with it. I think we are at the point that we should sacrifice couple grown ass women who put themselves into this situation vs. sacrificing kids to suicides due to the schools shot down.

What about rape victims who will commit suicide when they’re forced to carry their rapist’s baby and then face the prospect of having to co-parent with him if he won’t give up his rights so she can put the baby up for adoption? Where do they rate in your scale of moral relativism?

It's ok, we will replace them one rape victim with a hundred of healthy immigrants.

Youngkin does not want to ban abortion. He does want to require abortion providers to be certified medical professionals. How about all the women who die from botched abortions?

DP - I’m curious - are you planning to lose the General Assembly? Because the only way a Heartbeat bill is passed into law is if it’s written by the legislature.

Republicans are expected to take back the House of Delegates this year. Democrats only a single vote majority in the senate, which is not secure at all (and Sears were to win LG, so would be an extreme anti-abortion tie breaker).

Republicans could absolutely take the General Assembly, and then there’s be virtually no stopping them effectively banning abortion in Virginia.

You are so full of it. Under current law, surgical abortions can only be performed by licensed medical professionals, and non-surgical abortions can only be prescribed by licensed medical professionals. Are you really trying to claim that Youngkin fully supports Virginia’s current abortion laws?
