Evacuation Plan for DC

With all this talk about 1million militia coming to the city on the 19th and 20th, has the Mayor’s office put out an evacuation plan for the residents. With that many people, things can go bad fast and spread into the communities. What’s the plan?

We're not getting 1 million militia. Come on. They are calling it "million militia march" or something like that but it doesn't mean 1 million armed people are coming.

I'd be surprised if these hayseeds can put together 10 people, forget "1 meeeelion" (pinky to mouth)

People laughed last April when I said civil unrest is coming and "this is why I have a shotgun...so I can sleep well at night." Also duck hunting, but I havent done that in 5 years now. I am the most passive, nonviolent person you ever met, despite being 6'4 and 200'. Sometimes trouble comes and one must be ready. I loved it when even Mr. Biden himself extolled the virtues of a good shotgun for home defense, some years ago.

By summer they werent laughing any more.

I said the same thing the other day. I dont care if its a race riot, a left wing riot, or a right wing riotous insurrection...I feel safe in my home.

People should know the evacuation routes anyway. And an alternative. We practice ours twice a year. In cold weather in cars and in warm weather on foot.

That’s why we also practice on foot.

Don’t assume you will be home when you need to evac. Unless you constantly have a bike with you wherever you need to go, you need to learn alternative methods.

On January 6th those morons actually believed Trump would have their back. Now that they realize they are actually going to get in trouble and their Dear Leader will hang them out to dry, only the dumbest of the dumb will bother showing up and the police and National Guard will wipe the floor with them.

Good god this is so overblown. Jan 6 was the big day of reckoning for these pork chops and (despite what the foaming at the mouth 24 hour news media would have you believe), it was a fairly pathetic showing and minor riot by any historical measure. There was obviously some symbolic damage given breach of the Capitol, but no one needs to be afraid. My guess is that if there’s any presence at all it’s going to be a handful of yahoos that look even more pathetic than last time.
