DC DINING IN THE YEAR 2000 - TAKE ME BACK!

Anonymous
Picture it: Washington DC. 2000.

Where were you dining and wining?

I was making time over at Guapo's in Tenleytown and at the baked potato place over on Wisconsin (WHAT was it called)??

That's Amore in Bethesda was my go-to for a romantic Italian meal, and sometimes I'd indulge with a pupusa at Haydee's up in Mt. Pleasant if I was feeling frisky.

You?

I didn’t arrive until 2003.

But we liked TenPenh and DC Coast for fancy meals.
Lauriol Plaza which I should get back to one of these days for old times sake.

TomTom Thursday night drink special. What was it - 4 shots and 4 beers for $20? Then jumbo slice on the way home.

+1 to TenPenh for celebrations and Lauriol Plaza for summer nights but we went to Millie and Al’s for pitchers and pizza.
