I am getting bored of my personal go-to, which is fresh squeezed juice of some type, splash of red wine vinegar, and dijon mustard with S&P all whisked together.
Anyone have some good ideas? I'm a creamy dressing person at heart, but for lunches try to stick to something light. Yes, I know I can google for ideas but looking for real recommendations. TIA! |

Emulsifies just fine for a quick lunch with the dijon, which is the flavor I like the most. Used to make it with EVOO, mostly just tasted more diluted, so started leaving it out. Sometimes I'll throw in some crumbled gorgonzola with it as well. When I whisk it all up with the cheese in it, coats everything even more yummy. Just bored of it right now--so curious for any other ideas. I'm not against fat, just not in my go-to. Thanks! |
| Bolthouse Farms Yogurt dressings. I like ranch and blue cheese. About 45 calories in 2 tablespoons. I buy at Target. |
I like these too. Caesar is good as well. |

Bolthouse has a good yogurt dressing line that provides some light creaminess.
I make my own Italian and go heavy on the vinegar and lighter on the oil. |

I make a lot of dressings based on either miso or tahini. For instance:
--miso --soy sauce --white wine vinegar --lemon juice --sesame oil --water (just to thin it out a bit) OR --tahini --EVOO --lemon juice --water |
