Name my male dog!

I’m becoming obsessed with naming my pup. He is Mastiff (yet to be born). I tend to like names of English origin, but I am certainly open to other names. I created a list. I don’t subscribe to the idea of letting the dog tell me their name, so I’m trying to narrow this down for my own sanity.

Are u ever going to let him off leash like at a dog park? Because shout the name out like you would around other people and see how it sounds. And please tell me you have met both the parents and you are not supporting puppy Mills or back yard breeders.

Good idea about shouting the name. I am also looking for others’ opinions. Do you have strong feelings about one name or another? I appreciate it!

[I am not an inexperienced dog owner, and I know to find responsible breeders. Please, let’s not turn this thread into an adopt-don’t-shop soap box.]

Yeah, I don’t do that. 😶😶 I had my girl’s name picked out years before I got her. Of course, after I had it picked out, it became THE most popular female dog name.
