Yes! Remington is my favorite, but I didn’t want to skew the results. (Thanks PP!) |

I have found that one syllable names are the most easily recognized by the dog. My dog’s name is Ace and he knows his name very well and I can easily get his attention when I call him.
So, none of the names you listed plus one syllable. If not one syllable I would stop at two.. no longer. So for a mastiff Smalls Biggie From your list, I would shorten the name to one syllable and pick Finn Madd Pax |
Those are two of my favorites. Thank you! |
| Saxon! |
I really like Finn. I also like Quinn, but I didn’t add it to my list because I’m kind of anti-one syllable names for dogs. (I hate the name Quincy.) I think two-syllable names are best for dogs, but my favorite male name is three syllables; hence, my struggle. 🙃 |
Hey, that’s kinda cute. |
I like Remington but I also like Finnegan! I think a big, majestic-looking Mastiff with the friendly Finnegan name is a nice contrast. |
Np. I heard the name Bentley and liked it. What do you think, op? |
Agree! I also like how distinguished Remington sounds on a goofy lug of a dog. |
| Belvedere |
I do like Bentley! I toyed with it for a little bit. |
Great pick! My girl is Bella, though. Might be confusing? |
| OP, any guess on fur color? |
Most likely Brindle (male) |
| Finnegan. Finn for short. |
