| Or did they all remain open? |
| Sidwell is closed |
| In Annapolis most middle and high schools moved to virtual. Indian Creek and Key to name two. Seems like logical move to keep whole community in mind through this tentative time. The data supports possible younger students staying in place if any, but ages 10 and up probably best to choose virtual especially during this time of high community spread. |
And St Andrews. Big mistake for both. |
| Beauvoir and other Cathedral schools |
| Holy Trinity in Bowie |
| I think more than we know. Lots of cases spiking in next couple of weeks so some might have a lot of virtual students and teachers even if doors are open. |
| Why did St. Andrews close? I thought they were committed to staying open. |
| Some are open, but kids are staying home anyway. |
| I heard NCS/STA are open some but BVR closed between thanksgiving and Xmas so not all Cathedral Schools are the same. |
Why a mistake? Rather be safe then sorry. We will see the results soon. It’s nice to gamble on kids and teachers lives. |
| There is no evidence of spread within schools. Absolutely not a single breakout in a school. |
Actually Key is in person again for Lower anyway. We opted out. I asked DD and she said it’s a slight majority on zoom though. |
Nope. NCS and STA are both open. Did virtual learning the first week back from Thanksgiving to get everyone tested and serve as a cushion week and now back again today in cohorts. Pleased with both schools. They have done very well. |
NCS and STA are in hybrid learning. Sports are on-campus, not affected. Kudos to them! |
