The data supports possible younger students staying in place if any, but ages 10 and up probably best to choose virtual especially during this time of high community spread.

Actually Key is in person again for Lower anyway. We opted out. I asked DD and she said it’s a slight majority on zoom though.

Key is in person. My child is there today. Requiring negative covid tests. If the test results are back in time, they need to stay virtual. My son wants to go back so he is there. Their virtual program is good so now complaints either way.

WIS has been open grades 1-12 (hybrid) since early Oct uninterrupted and fully in person for the youngest grades. They introduced PCP testing last week wtih results 27 minutes later! This parent is thrilled.

SOTI is open on campus for lower and middle. I'm thankful as well.

Madeira was open 5 days per week until Thanksgiving but is doing virtual between Thanksgiving and winter break. They also cancelled spring break so their summer will now start 2 weeks sooner (too much risk with spring break travel to bring everyone back). The girls seem to be glad if that change as the seniors do not want to risk having graduation cancelled again.

And St Andrews. Big mistake for both.

I think the opposite, kudos too both for doing the right thing as the numbers of people dying and hospitalized is only climbing.

Good for Madeira! What a thoughtful choice about spring break in order to keep graduation.

Rapid tests have proven to be much less reliable. At least they're testing.

That's terrific!!! Do you mind sharing who the testing company is. PCR results that fast is great. I'll pass on to our school.

Primary Day is closed. Odd choice for a lower only school.

Our school is in person and every student who elected hybrid is in class for the next two hybrid weeks. All tested negative last weekend. DC

Agree, not sure what drove that. Is a head scratcher.

I think middle might be hybrid and high school virtual.

Why? Beauvoir closed too? A couple of pre schools have had to close with Covid like illnesses and cases so not a bad choice really.
