Right? For a concert that's been planned for months and months, they show up a week before the concert and raise millions. Because that's how that works.

You do realize that that the organizations strategize about the optimal time to announce any celebrity’s involvement, right? They want to optimize interest and maximize donations. If they announced every detail of the concert months ago, it’s unlikely that it would have made the big splash that they needed NOW.
