LMAO. Seems like we’d have to offer tax incentives to get the Norwegians to come here.

That wouldn't be very hard. They pay around 50% in taxes which is insane.

And yet the lower taxes isn’t enticing them so far. How low do we need to go?

0% taxes, 0% services, 100% sh1thole

The Republican dream. “I got mine”. “Every man for himself!”

So tell them not to move to Chicago.

So where in America can you move where you are safe, have a good standard of living, are guaranteed to get health insurance/care, guaranteed to get paid parental leave and subsidized daycare, and where women share equally in political power? Please let me know because I want to move there.

No answer for this yet? I think a lot of us would be interested to know.

That was not the point.

He was saying why allow the people from these countries to come here.

You know, like your ancestors did, for a better life. Their country being poor does not make them unworthy.

He also said that he would be ok with Norwegians coming here. Why?

Ok but he is right their hometown is horrible. We are not a charity and why don't they stay in their hometown and work to make it better? Again we are not a charity.

If you could time travel, would you say the same thing to your ancestors who immigrated to the US?

At least if you’re going to spew this, get your facts straight. Chicago has one of the lowest rates of gun violence deaths.

Perhaps you know that and your real point is, no matter what city you go to in the US you are more likely to get shot compared to other industrialized countries.

No, but it's also not, "Everyone can come here illegally or not. We're more than happy to pay for your education, housing, and medical care."

I'm not sure why you posted this but I'll infer that you want everyone to believe Nigeria is in fact a terrible country to live in. I'm not sure why present day people are getting so much satisfaction out of "America is the best" status. What exactly have you done that contributed to the fact that the US is a wealthy and powerful country? Probably not much. And don't say your ancestors because if they're accused of harming POC, your excuse is that it was a long time ago don't blame me. What exactly is there to be proud of other than the circumstance of your birth?[/quote

It's not a terrible country at all; however, when about 65% of the country is truly impoverished, there's a huge problem. The previous pictures that were posted are lovely, but so many living there have lives of crushing poverty.

https://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_countries_result.jsp?country1=Norway&country2=United+States

The tax rate is much higher in Norway and a much higher cost of living to begin with means it will be harder to stretch your wages even though after tax wages are similar.

In summary:
Consumer Prices in United States are 35.22% lower than in Norway
Consumer Prices Including Rent in United States are 27.61% lower than in Norway
Housing Prices in United States are 45.87% lower than in Norway

Groceries Prices in United States are 29.94% lower than in Norway
Automobile prices in United States are 38.26% lower than in Norway
Local Purchasing Power in United States is 32.32% higher than in Norway

I guess the Italians are to blame for all of Europe's problems then because the Romans held slaves 2000 years ago....

It is my hope that this link is propaganda. I mean, why would a PM with an anti-semitism problem of their own making fault a politician for trying to make life safer and more secure for their own citizens? We all have domestic issues we need to address.

Shorter: tend to your growing anti-semitism problem and Trump will tend to our Border security.

The interesting thing to note is that the white violence rate and white murder rate is much closer (but slightly higher) to most European nations.

It is also similar if you compare the rates of violence in countries with white majorities in south America.

go on nationmaster.com and you can compare the stats yourself. You will find quite a bit of data that isn't PC.
