I entirely agree, the second amendment has killed a lot of people on both sides of the political spectrum. Charlie Kirk's death was preventable.

Divisiveness is the cause. People are being very dumb with there behaviors today. I going with the “if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all” method as well as condemning the violence. People will come on the internet and say and do anything for views without thinking of the consequences. OUR WORDS MATTER.

It’s social media, social media has destroyed us. Get off social media and actually converse with people face to face. Disagreements are okay, it’s okay to lose. Social media is not natural. Boycott social media.

I just decided today to get off all social media. I hate the extremes. This site may be next.

I see why Europe is passing all of these social media laws.

No need to pass laws, it's coming to a point where people are going to simply start tuning out in various ways. Some deliberately to avoid getting sucked into a fake world of mostly hate rhetoric that only makes people despair. Others would become nihilists or getting numb to the point of not caring about anything unless it's under their noses. You see new generation emerging are starting to engage less and less at personal level viewing it all as a movie on a distant screen.

Law enforcement getting into position AFTER the fact. So efficient.

something just feels fishy.

Epstein birthday cards got released one day before. Russia invades Polish air zone. Netanyahu strikes multiple countries same day & sends out thoughts and prayers for a rather insignificant figure who has pretty much no ties to Israel.

Pizza fear index (pizzint.watch) shows high activities beginning of week.

The old guy pretending to be the shooter (to possibly buy the real shooter time?)

Trump immediately sending out messages on his truth platform.

That’s a few too many coincidence IMHO.

He treated people with compassion. If you think of him as just a right-wing firebrand, watch him here.

I think that it’s salvageable, we just have never tried to make it workable.

That’s actually good news to hear for conservatives. Even my GMU liberal son just commented how sick and demented people have become on the left (commenting on their online celebrating).

Don't let your kid divide people into left or right. That is the source of these problems.

Interesting. I saw the PP’s comment as encouraging.

When you can also see your own side’s faults, that means you’re gaining perspective.

Well "online celebrating" is vague, so unless the kid knows these people, it is just as likely a bot. Don't trust on line comments from "people" you don't know, and certainly don't judge a super broad group of people ("the right" or "the left" or "liberals' or "conservatives") based on them. That is how an entire country gets manipulated.

But if he actually knows the poster he should call them out on it loud and clear.

We just need to disarm the MAGAs. They’re the ones killing people.

I'm okay with disarming everyone, except hunters. Keep hunting, but regulate and monitor the guns.

Yes! This is what I've been saying for years. And no need for high powered fancy hunting weapons either. Just regular rifles.

I'm part of the left, and I'm just as sad today as I was when Melissa Hortman died. No more no less.

Online Russian propagandists are trying to turn us into Rwanda. And they're having more success than I'd like.

No one on the "left" is celebrating, tool.

MAGA martyred one of their own.

A single accurate shot at 200 yards is perfectly possible with a normal hunting rifle. It's a long shot deer hunting, but people make them.

+1 I stopped watching the news and only do the associates press and blocked all political commentators. However some people will never be sucked out, they lack friends, families, and hobbies and are addicted to it.

But if we get rid of 90% of our guns and register the rest, gun deaths will go down.
