You expecting more than one offer from MYS?

My girl is on a MYS 2013 team. She attended the tryouts. Many of the girls have already received offers. Several were Monday night. I know of three other girls who received offers last night. This is for 2013. However, I assume it would be the same for all age groups.

If DB is returning 99% of the 2013 McLean Girls team will go to him. They were such a tight family.

Sounds like you are not part of that team so how would you know?

MV has little experience in playing soccer. Their survival seems to be attributed to their connections with MC, the ECNL president. The families in Vienna deserve higher standards. While the individuals are good-hearted, there appears to be a lack of guidance from the club's Technical Director or Executive Director.

This is putting it mildly. Vienna is where talent goes to die (or leave)... that includes players AND coaches.

How are they putting out offers without a coaching slate? The good old “trust us” method?

This is why 2013 folllowed their coach to FVU. Tough to compete against if yiu are already in wtith DB

We'll see if this is true or just rumor. FVU tryouts for girls start on Sunday (Mar 2) and FVU has said they will post the coaching slate before then. Stay tuned.

Wonder what the context was behind DB's sideline issues that led to the drama for his teams at NVA. Will it be better for him at FVU?

Didn't the 2013 families already show their cards already by not showing up to tryouts? Either they know who the coach is and are happy with it; or they don't care and would rather just play ECNL.

Either way MYS GA foundation team is already in the wind

A couple of vocal parents turned Eddie Lima away. The majority of them loved him. They were winning and wanted to expand but I think they were too small to just expand with BRYC the year they did. They should have looked originally to bring in another club or expand VYS and BRYC more before merging but they were probably trying to work with the schedule ECNL gave BRYC to find a partner. The soccer business does not seem easy for most clubs.
