If just .1% of the people let in during the last four years are bad hombres, we will have big problems.
Mark my words. |
I call 'em as I sees 'em! |
I voted Blue and am a legal immigrant. I will be cheering when each and every illegal is deported. |
I'll cheer when the border is completely secured, our asylum protocols are reformed, and criminals here without legal status are deported. I have an open mind and open heart to accept those that are already here without legal status and are only here seeking a better life as long as the flow of undocumented people is completely stopped going forward. |
Everyone who is here without legal status is a criminal.... so deport them all. |
Your argument is with the flawed asylum laws and protocols, not the people that take advantage of a flawed system to better their lives. Of course, this is probably too complex of topic for you to understand. |
Kind of unfair, isn’t it? If you came in yesterday, for no good reason, you get everything, but tomorrow is the cut off? How about instead, if you have been here for 10 years without any legal problems, or are married to a U.S. citizen for 5, or similar ? Not that any of this will happen… |
Nothing in this is fair. The best we can do is prioritize stopping the bleeding by completely securing the border and reforming asylum protocols. Deportation on any large scale would be impractical, nearly impossible, and inhumane. |
"Take advantage" is a shady, nuanced way of saying break the law. Sounds like you think it's ok to steal when no one will notice. |
Yes, "take advantage" of a flawed system. Kinda like what your pals Trump and Biden do with our income tax code. Is this concept over your head? |
The only US immigrants I know who are leaving to go back to their home countries are Europeans. |
Me too. It’s terrible that they assume that we support this insanity just because we’re immigrants. Send them all home and lock down the border! No more people let in to hopefully appear in court some years in the future. Remain in Mexico if you have a valid asylum claim we’ll hear it but otherwise live in Mexico. We’re having enough trouble looking after our own. |
We had 8 million come in the last 4 years; shouldn’t be that hard to remove them. |
