Then why do you sound so desperate?

Because I now have to vote for trump that's why!

That makes ZERO sense. You either actually realize that Trump and Trumpism is anti-Democratic and a disaster and you were willing to vote for Biden, who is the equivalent of the proverbial ham sandwich, to avoid that, or you are a very low information voter and think Trump has something to offer and you missed the first time around, and you were always going to vote for him anyway.

You wouldn’t have to say a thing Harris will make herself look like a fool

All the cries of racism and misogyny to try and silence any critics, but anyone with two brain cells and see if she has not fit to be president

Exactly. Democrats have played their ridiculous racism/misogyny card one time too many. Any candidate is fair game to be critiqued on their record. And Kamala has been a joke.

Before it gets deleted, look at the comment directly prior to yours. The misogyny and racism cards apply. If you’re sick of being called out for your racism and misogyny, addres that in yourself.

Sorry, no. Democrats have called Trump all manner of names. Kamala Harris is fair game and nothing about her race or gender gives her immunity from criticism. She is indeed a fool, just as the PP said.

Absolutely no one was enthused about voting for Biden. We were all going to do it (or most of us) because he's not Trump, but no one was excited about it.

This will only energize people to show up at the polls. Especially if the VP is a non-dinosaur white male (almost certainly will be).

Agree about the white male VP, and as long as he's younger than 65, people will feel more energized and not see him as another old fart.

Are you kidding? He specifically said in 2020 that he would *only* run as a one-term president. Then his ego got the better of him and he reneged on that. He might have had something of a “legacy” had he kept his word and allowed someone else to run in 2024. Instead, his legacy will be as a stubborn, diminished old man who had to be pushed out of the race.

And yet he shows himself capable of doing the right thing for the good of the country.

Unlike Trump.

He was pushed out. We all know this. Stop the fiction that he selflessly and gracefully bowed out for the good of the country. He had no choice.

And Trump was voted out, but he did not leave gracefully. Biden is a true gentleman.

Yep. And I remember DCUM’s finest LWNJs insisting the same thing.

Obviously Kamala Harris will be the nominee. The entire Democratic coalition will rally around her by COB tomorrow.

No governor is running against the Vice President, who happens to be a woman of color endorsed by the President with a billion dollars in the bank. Not happening. This is a completely unprecedented situation, but it's not difficult to game out.

All the attention will be on the VP pick, which rumors, rumors, will happen soon.

If Harris chooses Mark Kelly - astronaut, fighter pilot, war hero, husband of Gabby Giffords (needed a trifle more than an ear band-aid to survive her assassination attempt), charismatic, good on tv, battleground state - then it's a win. Mark Kelly emasculates Trump/Vance. Extremely good pick.

But the problem with Kamala Harris - when you look at her staff and how quickly people are gone - is that Harris absolutely sucks at surrounding herself with talent. And that is going to be an issue this week. If the VP staff are garbage presently - and who knows, bc the turnover is extreme - this is going to be a problem right now.

If she picks poorly with the VP, it's still carnage for Democrats in November

good points. Dems need to take the rose tinted glasses off and address her weaknesses head on.

Plus, abortion has been a huge winning issue for Democrats for the past two years. Who better to hammer Trump (and now Vance) with that than a woman? That alone is going to drive a lot of women/youth voters.

Once again the GOP is standing agape like the dog who caught the proverbial car. 🤣

um no, they have come out swinging tying Harris to Biden, especially regarding the border mess.

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/4784658-trump-campaign-attacks-harris/

The number of migrants unlawfully crossing the U.S. southern border has continued to drop markedly in July, nearing a threshold that would require officials to lift a partial ban on asylum claims enacted by President Biden, according to internal government data obtained by CBS News.

July is on track to see the fifth consecutive monthly drop in migrant apprehensions along the U.S.-Mexico border and the lowest level in illegal immigration there since the fall of 2020, during the Trump administration, the internal Department of Homeland Security figures show.

In early June, President Biden invoked a far-reaching presidential authority to suspend the entry of most migrants entering the U.S. illegally, effectively shutting off access to the American asylum system outside of official ports of entry.

Illegal border crossings — which were already falling before Mr. Biden's action — plunged further after the order took effect, reaching a three-year low in June.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/migrant-crossings-plunge-near-level-lift-biden-border-crackdown/

Try harder.

Why are you Dems so dumb.

I despise Trump to the last molecule of my being.

But, they've done a good job tying the border mess to Harris, and you cannot erase 3 years of the mess at the border in 3 months, especially when the MAGA camp will be pushing this message 24/7.

I think you Dems are stupid smart - there's a lot of educated brain power there, but you don't know how to read the room.

Ok, where do you stand on Trump tanking the bi-partisan border bill that was set to pass?

Of course I blame him. But that's not the point.

Voters care about the economy. MAGA have tied the border mess, illegal immigrants flooding MI, NY, IL etc.. getting shelter and food at the expense of taxpayers, to Biden/Harris. Voters are having to deal with inflation, high housing costs, etc.. and to see illegal immigrants getting housing and food allowances makes them upset.
Heck even the leaders of Chicago and NYC are saying enough illegal immigrants.

Three years of this mess won't be wiped out in three months in the minds of the public.

I honestly don't understand how you Dems don't understand basic human nature.

Human nature is also optics. Old, sweaty, rambling dude vs. younger, strong, coherent woman. No brainer.

vance is there to balance that out

Vance himself said Trump was "America's Hitler" and the Dems have plenty of ammunition for ripping him to pieces.

And Kamala called Biden a racist on numerous occasions. How did that work out for her?

No truer words.

I love the revisionist fiction being spun that he selflessly and thoughtfully decided to step down. Riiiiiight…

I love the Republicans getting upset about it.

OTC, we are laughing at you people and your “heroic, selfless” blather. You actually believe your own nonsense!

And you support a rapist, convicted felon, insurrectionist, rambling, walking liar.

Someone is deeply triggered ^^

NP. I mean…why are you cool with a rapist pedophile tax cheat being president?

DP. It’s interesting that you are so desperate you have to keep claiming Trump is a pedophile. I mean, seriously? Do you even hear yourself?

Harris will always be herself - which is a bad temper, no manners, ill fitting pantsuits and faux pearls. The "face" she puts on for the public is who she is. She will never get the votes with it.

Clearly. That's why you and the trumpers are running around on social media rn like chickens with your head cut off.

NP. Yeah I was not expecting this level of panic from them. Good sign, I guess

Johnson is trying to nullify this, that’s all I need to know.

No panic at all. This is absolutely hilarious!

I’m wondering where the PP is getting “panic” from.

I’m not the PP but I think the idea that the Republicans are panicking is a concerted message from the DNC. Personally as someone who will never, ever vote for Trump, I think this is extremely foolish.

Trump should focus on not wiping the floor with his own derrière during the debate. It’s tedious for a geriatric.
