BLC girls have to try to go there, the top girls from other clubs may stay put and dilute the 2030 CLC team

That is not going to happen. The families from the non BLC know CLC is a better option.

In 2 years half of NL will join the best from Stars, BLC, YJMA, and Pride to beat MnD DC. It doesn’t matter.

FACTS!

In 2 years half of BLC will join CLC Blue, the other half CLC orange. The remaining spots will go to top players from the other teams.

We might be 2 years into the slide by then. Definitely not a fact. CLC has a lot of work to do, including the nonstop promotion on this thread. So keep it up.

Exactly, and if the 2030 YJMA and ‘M&D DC teams do well for the next 2 years their top players may choose to stay on those clubs during high school. CLC will have real competition for the best 2030s

You do realize that NL 2030 is a B-level team, right? They aren’t even in the same conversation as YJMA and BLC.

Considering Capital does not even update their website for years on end, I seriously doubt they would be “promoting” on social media. Why is that? Maybe it’s the academic profile of their players, but they have the best recruiting outcomes in the area, including the Baltimore teams. The product speaks for itself and they basically don’t need to do anything. Starting tomorrow, 40-44 of the 2026 players between Blue and Orange will commit to play in college. Certainly, there may be other paths to take. But even after all the back and forth here, I have not read a single good argument as to why another far less certain path would be preferable. I would love to hear the case being made. Please enlighten me!

Thanks Capital dad, A+ for effort. Care to wager on the 26 class for CLC vs the Baltimore teams and recruiting? The top 10 recruits seem to be missing representatives from CLC. Pushing the CLC motto isn’t going to work any more.

Here’s one for you . . . Capital’s singular focus on recruiting means they are not always trying to win. They split time, so the bottom half of the roster plays as much as the top half. I believe this is to expose all of the players to recruiters, but it means the best players are not always on the field. My daughter is a top player and would be playing basically the entire game for any team that actually wanted to win. How’s that?

Lmao. They obv have engaged you and others to that end. Think it "might" be tough on that end with the strength of the '30s and how the '28 and '29s play out. Nothing that Cap (from what it looks like given their minions being put to work) doesn't know better than any of us. Pretty crucial time for them.

KCM's last club squad did equally as well as CLC, and that was with an MC Elite team! Same with her hs squad. Cap knows this, and stack with some possibly weak '28 Cap results coming up, they're vulnerable. Maybe the '30s is going to be where they have to make hay or else. Which is why you or others have been engaged. We'll see.

Capital takes advantage of generally having higher academic players who can get in to more schools to juice their recruiting numbers. That does not mean they have better players than Baltimore teams.

Okay, we don’t know what will happen with the 2026s. What about the 2025s and prior? Who does the best generally at recruiting? Where’s the data guy?

Will M&D DC have a split playing time philosophy? Who knows? They will be building the airplane while flying. Who cares anyway?

Would love the see the analysis on MCE doing “equally as well” as CLC. Where did all the players end up?

I’ve been curious about this for a while. I’m guessing not, but is there any data on which teams are getting girls more scholarship opportunities. I’ve assumed Cap being better at recruiting than playing was helped by more families being willing to pay full sticker price, but maybe I’m wrong.
