GT/AAP Appeals

19:22 Did you submit an AAP School-Based (Level III) Referral Form to the Advanced Academic Resource Teacher at the local school.

19:22 here. We didn't submit anything to the school, but that is where the letter came from. I read on the timeline this is when those letters come out. We appealed to the county with a WISC 128 and GBRS 12. Just kind of wondering if that is our answer.

My sources close to the situation tell me the number of successful appeals this year will be dramatically lower. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 25% or less for successful appeals. There are several reasons behind this, I'm told.

They have in the past, but my contact told me there are changes this year. I guess we'll see.

if true, anyone care to speculate on the reasons?
My guesses would be : #1 - overcrowding
#2 - crackdown on paid testers whose names appear over and over on apps. with high WISC scores at odds with everything else in the file.

It's not true. 00:90 is likely to be right. It's the same troll.
Students don't compete each other for space. Overcrowding shouldn't be a consideration for selection.
Are you suggesting bribery to the licensed tester?

Don't know about number 1, but 2 sounds right to me.

The continual posting of troll pics is laughable. Is that what this forum has come to - post juvenile pictures instead of addressing/debating what people are saying?
