| Sad. I watched the 2019 movie about him. It was excellent and moving. He was only 60 but lived a pretty hard life. |

I never liked him when I was younger, but the movie fundamentally changed my view of him and I grew to understand how incredible his transformation at and of Napoli was given how he had washed out at Barca. There's just something magical about watching players who could simply be regular guys on the street but who have physical and mental capabilities that are otherwordly. A hard life but a full life. I wish his last 10 years could have been a little more restful for him. |

In the end it was probably his alcohol addiction that finished him.. For Diego the party never ended. |
