I started using "Plan to Eat" app/website in the spring when I found myself having to meal plan and cook more often, and consequently, I'm repeating favorite recipes more regularly. DH loves this because I find ones that we like and can cook it more than once (how I usually cook). There are a couple new ones I've done and liked, but one that we really love for the whole family is this super easy stir-fry recipe using ground turkey instead of sliced meat, expediting meal prep. It's so delicious and kids like it, too. I serve it with rice, to which I add a little toasted sesame oil, also. I've made it with kale and other veggies (kale has to be cooked longer than the spinach so I saute it separately after I cook the meat). It's so simple to make, using ingredients I almost always have.
The chopped peanuts really add something to it...don't leave them out if you don't have allergy issues! https://www.budgetbytes.com/ground-turkey-stir-fry/ I'd love to hear your favorite, family-friendly, easy delicious weeknight recipe. Links please! (Also as an aside, if you don't use Plan to Eat or another meal planner, I love this tool for how easy it makes it to plan meals and the grocery lists and you can literally just plug in a link and it populates the whole thing automatically. I've never stuck with a meal planner for this long!) |

My teen boys love this. It's super quick and easy and uses pantry staples.

We've made America's Test Kitchen's Beef Taco Bake a bunch. I think it's from the Six Ingredients or less cookbook. It's really easy, and everyone loves it. I swap a half-pound of the ground beef for a can of black beans.

Can you post the recipe? |

This is my go-to for an delicious crowd pleaser with the absolute minimal effort:
https://smittenkitchen.com/2016/05/crispy-tortellini-with-peas-and-prosciutto/ If I keep us stocked with frozen tortellini and peas, I can often make this on the fly without a trip to the grocery story. I've substituted both pancetta or bacon for the prosciutto many times as well, though the prosciutto is ideal because you can crumble it into little flaky bits and it distributes really nicely through the sauce. |

We're veg and have eaten this Hello Fresh recipe a bunch of times in the past few months:

Those sound really good! My favorite vegetarian meal that I've made several times is this: https://pinchofyum.com/bbq-tofu The tofu is delicious, and I make the whole bowl situation with the green goddess sauce and all that. It's more labor intensive but amazing. (Our kids won't eat it...too healthy, lol.) |

I love these threads. Thank you to whoever suggested the vegetarian flats and the tortellini and peas -- that just went on our meal planning list for next week and I'm excited about how easy they both appear.
My favorite easy dinner is spaghetti and meatballs using this recipe: https://smittenkitchen.com/2019/03/perfect-meatballs-and-spaghetti/ I like to make a double batch of the meatballs and freeze half so it can be an even easier dinner a few weeks later. Also, I usually make a x1.5 batch of the sauce because 1 is too little and 2 is too much. We like a lot of sauce on our spaghetti. |
| I have been making Trader Joe's orange chicken with rice and broccoli at least once a week. |

I've made this quite a lot this fall:
https://tasty.co/recipe/sausage-and-apple-stuffed-acorn-squash It seems more time consuming than it is. The hardest part is remembering to put the squash in the oven early enough to get it soft before you stuff it, but hey we're home all the time now! Plenty of time! |
Sadly none of the TJ's are convenient to me! I used to live half a mile from one, which made a swing-by-"homemade"-dinner so much easier! -OP |
This sounds delicious! I bet my kids would even eat it. One of the few veggies they like is acorn squash and they love apples and sausage. Added to my rotation! |
I have to walk a little over a mile to get to mine. It's worth it to me. Everyone has to do what works best for them. |

I’ve made this cauliflower crust pizza a bunch of times. It’s much easier than other cauliflower crusts. I make it vegetarian. It’s hard to tell that it’s cauliflower.
