Can I just say how much I love Maryland?

An absolute shellacking by Democratic house incumbents except for the one crackpot on the Eastern Shore.

Montgomery County, which has had to look at Trump's literal a$$ from their backyard, obliterated him with 80% of the vote going to Biden. (Who was that rando who thought Trump would get over 40% of the vote in MoCo?)

They also rejected Robin Ficker's idiotic tax cap proposal and voted for the sane one, and they voted resoundingly against the Republican backdoor operative Nine Districts.

Much of this is not news, but it makes me happy still. Some may call it an echo chamber, but I call it a bastion of sanity. Maryland my Maryland you make me proud.

I was born in Maryland and have lived here most of my 50 some years due to family and work. This state has become an economic disaster and is getting worse, and the quality of life stinks. Thank you for clearly articulating why I’m moving from here just as soon as I can manage it financially. The good news is that after last night, I have a nice map of places to do. Hint, it will be warmer where I’m headed.

Big whoop. you think people have the balls or wit to vote otherwise? I've never lived among more sheeple than I do now. As the PP states, this place is sinking fast. Our children aren't getting an education, no one wants to move their business here and thanks to people like you our taxes are going to become sky high.

Please, please go. I hope more people like you leave the state. This is pretty much my only comfort if Trump wins - that I'm surrounded mostly by like-minded people who see the white supremacist for what he is and aren't ok with it.
