You can gloat if or when that happens. As of right now, MoCo is still one of the wealthiest counties in the US. And also the most liberal.

Hint, it will be warmer where I’m headed.

I've also lived here nearly 50 years. I recall when it was mostly white. I also recall that, as more hispanic and black people moved here, the openly racist whites moved to Florida. I guess you've hit your breaking point, lol.

No, that's perennial.

One out of every five people in Montgomery County voted for Trump.

You likely know more Trump supporters than you realize!

Unless they all live up county?

Nah, one out of every five voters in Montgomery County voted for Trump. Basically, the same as in 2016 - which means they've learned NOTHING from the past four years. And yes, many do live upcounty, but then many of us know many people who live upcounty because we live upcounty...

I feel the same about dC, op. Same. Wish we could have gotten more progressives on the dc council and school board, but that's just quibbling around the edges. Love ya DC. Black lives matter (I'm neither black nor white but Asian.)

Not quite. 19% of people who voted, voted for Trump.

Per board of elections, approximately 650000 out of 1.1 million are registered voters and turnout was just over 50%.

Trump got fewer than 60,000 votes. So that’s much less than 6 percent of the whole population. Add to the fact that more Trump voters live upcounty, it is fair to say that many people in Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Wheaton, and Bethesda do not regularly interact with any Trump voters in their neighborhoods.

I’d like to see $200k of it taxed away from you.

You wanna handshake with socialism? Nah. I want it to bear hug you.

Anyone making over $100k as an individual needs to be taxed at 100% above 100k

You clearly know nothing about the topography of Florida.

Among lots of other things.

DP, but take a look at this sea level rise viewer to see what sea level rise will do to Florida.

Is the money going towards social programs, healthcare, education? Does this mean that one can get sick and not have it be life-ruining? Take my money.
