Good news!
I’m a parent, and I stand with the teachers. DCPS Central Office and the Chancellor need to get their house in order, take a pause, ENGAGE parents and teachers, and aim to reopen with a real, safe, plan in Feb. |
|
They’re not even starting negotiations again until Thursday?
They encourage teachers to teach as usual on the day after the “mental health” day... For elementary schoolers, that’s November 9th. This sucks. |
Thank you. You have no idea how much your support means. We support you and your family too! We are here for you and will be advocating for you and your families. |
| I wish more people were thinking about the kids, specially those who doesn’t have many options. |

They are engaging with teachers - through their union. The union refused to let DCPS engaged with teachers more directly. |
Oh no you do not support families. Not at all. If you did, you’d be doing your jobs. |
Please know for every brown-noser, there is another parent completely disgusted with your fecklessness. |
| Mark Seagraves, a reporter with NBC, said in a tweet that "@WTUTeacher is encouraging members to take a "Mental Health Day." How is this confirmation of anything? |
Read the email under the tweet. |
Do you really think if this is shot down that anyone will be going back in Feb. DELUSION. If this doesn't happen we'll be DL all year. Without a doubt. |
No you don't. Your stupid plan targets children and families instead of management. How do you people have no idea how to conduct a strike? |
