I think you got that backwards my friend.

When I’m proven right which I will be just remember this scene from Batman.

"I never said thank you," to which Batman replies from the rooftop edge, "And you'll never have to".

So age guy is Mr USYS

Now we know why he's pushing for 36 month older players to play down.

Playing down is the only way C team players can compete against correct age/grade players.

Word of advice. Instead of trying to cut corners maybe USYS should focus on making clubs and teams better.
it's funny how people were having a conversation without grade and you had to non sequitur in your grade goal. grade never part of nwe sy.

You mean your conversation with yourself?

Sorry grade exists and when its applied to your 36 month older player playing down nonsese people quickly see why it doesnt make sense.
find a post where somebody wants more than 12 month age group other than you. you've failed this challenge over and over. makes u a hypocrite.

Age guy / mr usys has been trying to start a rumor that leagues will start doing GY showcases for almost a year.

High schools allow students to be held back two times. This means 36 month older players (2 years older ie held back twice) in GY.

I'm confused. But aren't you the one pushing for grade alignment?

SY with August birthdays playing on the team thats their grade in school. Which is all 100% allowed under SY League rules. The oldest any player can be is born on 8/1 per year / level. End result is all players on the field are the same grade in school.

GY is any player a certain grade in school can play on the team. This allows 36 month older 2x held back "Sophmores" as an example.

The big difference is SY with Aug birthdays playing on their correct grade in school team is the most fair for the most players and it works well with p2p club processes.
Sure, GY for August but not other months helps your Sept daughter whereas showcases going GY for olders doesn't. Funny how Aug weren't forced up based on grade and local clubs don't even allow choosing to play up. Your ruse was a failure. Stay tuned about showcases.

There is no rouse.

Aug birthdays playing on ther correct grade in school team is better for players snd clubs.
Nah, only makes your Sept kid the oldest. Doesn't matter anyway, around here it's play on age, only the best get to play up.

I realize that youve built a strawman in your head. But just an FYI Aug birthdays can be 2 different grades in school depending on their districts cutoff date. What this means is some might need to play up to play on their correct grade in school team and some wont need to play up. I've consistently said Aug birthdays need to play on their correct grade in school team.

Yes, you protested to much, essentially needing to protect your Sept girl. Of course Aug birthdays do not need to play on their correct grade in school team (case by case) and can't always around here because only the best play up, it isn't a choice of parents. In summary, you failed.

I'm not pushing for anyone 36 months older to play with younger ones. But why are you pushing August kids to play up with grade but not allowing 36 month older kids to play with kids in their grade. Yes I realize there is a difference between 13 and 36 months, but who are you to decide which duration is appropriate vs too long? You are making a huge deal about grade alignment but you are not 100% consistent in age window.

Still 100% correct.

This is for next fall when SY starts.

11v11 = U18/U19 = ≤ 8/1/2007 ≈ Senior
11v11 = U17 = ≤ 8/1/2009 ≈ Junior
11v11 = U16 = ≤ 8/1/2010 ≈ Sophmore
11v11 = U15 = ≤ 8/1/2011 ≈ Freshman
11v11 = U14 = ≤ 8/1/2012 ≈ 8th grade
11v11 = U13 = ≤ 8/1/2013 ≈ 7th grade
9v9/11v11 = U12 = ≤ 8/1/2014 ≈ 6th grade
9v9 = U11 = ≤ 8/1/2015 ≈ 5th grade
9v9 = U10 = ≤ 8/1/2016 ≈ 4th grade
7v7 = U9 = ≤ 8/1/2017 ≈ 3rd grade
7v7 = U8 = ≤ 8/1/2018 ≈ 2nd grade
4v4 = U7 = ≤ 8/1/2019 ≈ 1st grade
4v4 = U6 = ≤ 8/1/2020 ≈ Kindergarten

Using U14 as an example what this is saying is...

1. They play 11v11
2. Players turn 14 after Aug 1
3. Players are younger than or equal to 8/1/2012
4. Players are most likely in 8th grade

U7; 8/1/2019 - 7/31/2020 ~ 2nd
U6; 8/1/2020 - 7/31/2021 ~ 1st

1. They play 11v11
2. Players turn 14 after Aug 1
3. Players are younger than or equal to 8/1/2012
4. Players are most likely Freshman or younger
