This is just the most cringey thing yet.

Show Our Pain! Show Our Love! Show Our Pride” Not to mention “bring your medals, trophies and posters.” Please, no. That sheit needs to stay at home. It all sounds like some sad rally that Kim Jong-un would force the unfortunate denizens of the DPR to attend. |
OP, pretty sure the link is just a troll post; doubt it's real. |
| I could see this happening tho, if TJ was shut down. But it's pretty far from that. |
Nope, it’s from the Coalition for TJ group complaining about Brabrand’s proposals. |
| Did this happen? |
It is scheduled for 10/18. |
| This is mostly for parents who are worried they no longer would be able to brag that their kids graduated or graduating from the #1 HS in USA. |
| Tone-deaf obnoxious wankers engaging in self-pitying displays of grief because their Tiger parenting skills will have to be put to use elsewhere. |
Yes. They (and you) don't realize that the kids their will be replaced with will drop out of TJ within a few months anyways.. |

It’s the “loss of the American Dream“...if your version of the American Dream is short-changing other kids so you can brag incessantly to your neighbors and relatives back home about your kid’s high school. Any chance these people will pack up and leave after their “‘vigil” is done?

I'll take a meritocracy over whatever woke/SJW bs yall are peddling any day of the week |
To hell with your test-prep, pay-to-play factory version of merit. |
I think this is eventually where TJ is headed. Resources are becoming scarce and many people want TJ turned back into a neighborhood school to serve the community rather than the 1-3%ers. I think the lottery or whatever happens to the admissions process is just a step in that direction. TJ has its own diploma with extra (summer school required classes). When many lottery students cannot keep up, as we have seen in honors classes and gen Ed, requirements will be reduced. And TJ will become just another neighborhood school. |
To hell with your pandering and handouts and give outs. |
