| All you wealthy people who are so proud you don't pay any income tax. You know that the wealthy in 18th Century France were exempt from tax and this was one of the causes of the French Revolution, right? So thanks for the inside look, I want to soak y'all more than ever. |
You’re a liar or your CPA is breaking the law. I’m also a small business owner, revenue was $3 million in 2019. Legally I can’t expense my clothes or haircuts. Why can Trump? I can deduct mileage but legally I can’t expense a car. Why can Trump? Sure, some of this has to do with real estate depreciation...but his fraudulent expenses and deductions are outrageous. You should get a new CPA before you’re audited. |
| Guys! Reading this newest story, I'm afraid Trump may be a shitty person and the people who support him may also be terrible. |
Don't forget talking to your daughter and passing it off as consultancy fees! |

LOLz. Breitbart headline now:
"Joe Biden Exploited S-Corporation Loophole to Avoid Payroll Tax" https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2020/09/28/joe-biden-allegedly-exploited-s-corporation-loophole-to-avoid-paying-medicare-social-security-taxes/ |
And someone already answered that Ford pardoned Nixon for crimes he committed but for which he had yet to be charged. |
+1. While there are lots of ways to manipulate that numbers, at the end of the day your deductions have to reflects actual expenses incurred. While you may be able to manipulate numbers to show little or no tax obligations for a few years, eventually the chickens come home to roost. If they don’t, you’re probably engaged in tax fraud. |
And as VP he supported closing that loophole. But wouldn’t Trump think he was “smart” for using it? |
| So trump is stupid and did all these taxes himself? |
He signed them, didn’t he? |
You going too far back these folks don’t follow history. |
Yes, he is stupid and no he didn't do them by himself. I suspect when he first asked his accountant if he could deduct haurcuts, the accountant said no, so he fired that accountant and hired one who said yes. We all know that's how Trump operates, so why are you surprised. |
The tax filer is the one whose signature goes on the returns, and the filet is the one responsible for verifying that all of the information is accurate. If Trump’s tax accountants screwed something up independent of Trump and he ends up incurring additional liability because of it, he can sue them accordingly, but the IRS is going to hold Trump himself accountable. |
