It was like 2-3 weeks ago, she basically said she sleeps with guys right away and IJ said thats probably why so many of the guys either want to jump into a relationship really quickly or want nothing to do with her right after..and she started crying and acting very petulant, saying everyone was slut shaming her. When really...they were offering advice ANYONE ELSE would tell you and HAS been saying forever

I just listened to that episode. There was no reason for her to get so emotional which makes me think her excuse for not having a bf, because guys get attached too quickly and are emotional, is complete BS. I don't believe it for a second. To me it seems like her problem is that she is too over the top with the "I love yous" and her personality in general. She is too fake and too much of a people pleaser.

I never thought that made sense. You don't have a boyfriend because guys get attached too quickly? Like, isn't the purpose of a boyfriend to get attached? And I'm sorry, but IJ was right, no matter how much she didn't want to hear it. When you sleep with a guy immediately, there's a 90% chance that he's either going to hit it and quit it or he's going to be attached to you. Maybe don't sleep with a guy that quickly and see how that goes?

Exactly. I feel like Rose wants to be treated with kid gloves, and you can't be treated that way and be successful in radio. If John was single and acting the way Rose does (ie sleeping with girls quickly then wondering why they either dip out or get attached) I don't think Rose would hesitate to call him out.

See my problem with her is that she seems to want it both ways. She wants to be treated with kid gloves but at the same time she wants to 'one of the guys'. I can't think of any specific examples without hearing a few past shows, but she seems to always be trying to act 'cool' or like a person that she isn't. I don't know. I think it's her mother's maiden name. Her real last name (Glazener, maybe?) isn't as cutesy

She talked about it in episode 1 I think. It's her mom's maiden name because someone (seems like maybe it was Kane) bought the domain name for her real name so she couldn't use it.

Re: Rose, I do get that vibe. There have been many occasions when Kane or IJ makes a stupid point and she just can't articulate a smart response. It's really annoying. I had the same problem with Danni. Danni would get loud and brash but not formulate a well thought out response, whereas Rose gives a halfass attempt at being assertive before rolling over or bursting into tears.

Definitely. I feel bad saying negative things about Rose because, unlike Danni, I think Rose is a nice person. That being said, she just isn't a good addition to the Kane Show. She really adds nothing other than an "I love you!", talking about her boyfriends/how many guys like her (which as a woman, she would realize is incredibly obnoxious), or crying about slut shaming.

In the show today she was talking about being mistaken for a stripper/offered a job at a strip club. Seems like she was trying to be "one of the guys", like you said.

Anybody else notice how Kane seems to be irritated by Rose's word choice most of the time? Today, she said "post-bang" referring to sex and Kane got upset. Last week she said "bitch" 3x in a row and Kane got upset. Can't think of other examples but it seems to happen at least once an episode. Wanted to know if anyone else noticed this...

To me, Rose is like a chameleon. She tries to fit into whatever situation she's in and doesn't do a good job of just being herself and being comfortable in her own skin, no matter who disagrees with her. Now, she's still young so I think that will come with age (I'm 34 and feel like I just learned this within the past year). But, for a radio co-host, I think it makes her come across as wish washy, fake, and uninteresting. Danni drove me nuts often, but she has a much stronger radio persona.

Rose is blah with no personality. It is sad that Kane and IJ do not take her seriously. When she mentioned the stripper story this morning, none of them remembered that she already told this story before.

I think he mostly gets mad because they try to not make obvious innuendos or say "bad" (think ass, bitch, bang, etc) that kids would hear on their way to school. They often try to save more sexual stories until after 8 or so when kids are probably not listening. I think they can get in trouble, so Kane has to police it.

I can't stand Rose on the show and completely agree that she ads nothing of value - but hey, in her defense, I would be anxious as hell on that show knowing Kane's track record of turning on people and them quickly getting the boot. Omg I absolutely agree to everything said about rose!!! Its embarrassing listening to her, she sounds like shes trying to be cool and like blase about it but it soudns so bad. Kane and IJ don't care, usually don't even respond to her weird remarks, and they all just dont vibe. She has the FAKEST laugh, just trying to be heard. Or starts yelling. Its awful. She's needs to go
