Makes sense. Wonder if this move —moving an entire RL conference to NL will piss off some clubs….. |
I'm sure it will, makes you think if this is one of their announcements, they must be running short of things to do. |
That’s a little concerning. |
|
Why is no one making anything of this ECNL News??????
LETS GO!!! ECNL PROMOTED AN ENTIRE RL conference to ECNL!!!! Take that GA and MLSN |
No - McLean was ECNL-R. Union was (and still is moving forward) ECNL. |
Nobody is commenting because it smells like a desperation move by ECNL. What made an entire league not good enough to be ECNL last season but good enough to be ECNL this season? |
| There is not Union with McLean can't revise history to make your badge look shinier. The parent consumers all know the new Union is Brave, and nobody wants Brave as a first choice. |
Example: Company knows they are about to lose a bunch of veteran employees, so they promote the unqualified young fellas that have been with the company for 6 months |
Quantity does not supplant quality. I would shudder to think that they would promote all our ECNL RL teams to ECNL in Virginia. A lot of those teams were in NCSL 3rd division before being switched over, just to fill slots in the league. They are watering down their product. |
There was no Union ECNL without Mcleans badge. There may not be a badge without McLean ….right? I mean, how can you form an alliance and not club have a charter?? |
| SoCal boards are crickets regarding this, you sure this moves the needle for ECNL boys or am I missing sarcasm |
Yup. Odd move for ECNL. I don’t think this is a win. |
+1 Correct Don't forget Brave was over wihout this so counting on ECNL extending them the charter is not realistic. Its going to MoCo ECNL team TBN |
If Fairfax county couldn't handle two teams, what makes you think MoCo can with a smaller population? And don't tell me that Pipeline or MD United players will come. They are in the dump, especially Pipeline. |
All the boards are crickets. COME ON ECNL FOLKS!!!! |
