I refuse to turn the TV and am instead counting on this thread to help keep me sane and amused.

I'm most struck by the contrast between Jill and Melania, the bright, happy purple vs. the Mary Poppins/Darth Vader mashup.

For Vanky, it's probably Eva Braun cosplay. It's a look very few try to emulate so she seems unique. I like the coat and cut and understand that's cold as a witches t1t out there but to me, it makes her look big and matronly. She looks about 40 pounds lighter in the candelight Oscar de la Renta.

So true. The purple is nice and Jill looks happy and age appropriate if not exciting or particularly fashionable - which is pretty typical for her.

The tailoring on Melania is good even though I don’t overall love the look. It’s weird to wear the hat so low to not see her eyes and does give Mary Poppins vibes. She looks so rigid - does she know she not a solider at attention? Relax a little. Good tailoring, odd choices, and possible cosplay so also pretty typical for her.

She always looks cheap. It’s not my cup of tea. I’m more a Carolyn Bessette Kennedy minimalism type. I don’t mind color. It’s just that Jill’s color like bright royal plus and purple instead of plum always look chintzy and cheap…particularly with the brittle blonde hair and bad hairstyle.

She is a pretty girl but that outfit looks dour and dull on her. A beige cape coat on a tween? It makes me wonder if Ivanka intentionally chose this outfit so that she (Ivanka) would stand out more.
