Preps JV team would likely beat these varsity teams.

Sure the Cadets play some elite teams, but the bottom of the WCAC has some teams that would struggle to even compete with IAC bottom feeder STA.

Lol. IAC full of pretenders. Love hiding on past glory. IAC teams will play several games vs. bottom half of WCAC and might even sprinkle in some local MAC teams to make them feel good. Did the same last year. Glad GP not on SJC schedule. Tired of the pregame build up and post game excuses.

IAC pretenders? Who is that?

Given Prep has now kids going to TAMPA to play lacrosse, that shows you the academic standards have dropped.

That’s an odd one, for sure, unless there’s some weird transfer portal strategy.

Tampa is the top D2 lax program and great weather and campus. What is odd is adults commenting on someone they do not know. Very sad.

Lenoir-Rhyne won the D2 title last season. So that would make them the top program until somebody else wins or they repeat. And they split the season series with Tampa. So, nice try.

You are a 18 y/o kid. You want to go to Tampa or Lenoir-Rhyne?

Let me see, I want to go where they win and where its a good fit. Tampa has exactly as may national titles as LR does. Going to Tampa because its FL is foolish but if you think that is for you or your kid, then great. I guess if you go to Syracuse you must love snow and cold weather.

I take it you never heard of Limestone University? Ever been to Gaffney, SC? Wonder why Limestone won all those D2 titles? It was not for where they are located.

I think we all know the real answer as to why SJC has been black balled from most of the DMV hs lax teams schedules. And it doesn’t have anything to do with being afraid of an average team this year at best off of military rd lol. Dunks is a great player and an even better young man overall, but STJ will struggle big time without him next year. No control at X with Weller gone and nobody at home in the net any longer, minus their leading scorer = STJ should be glad their not playing the likes of Prep or Landon this season!

Dunks hurt is fake news.

Im hearing from credible sources he is out but depending on when his surgery is / rehabilitation schedule, he might be back towards for the 2nd half of the season.

He’s def out for awhile. Just had a labrum revision surgery. Feel awful for the young man.

That stinks.

My best for a speedy recovery.

He should just rehab and take this spring off to be ready for college. Don’t rush back and get hurt again.

Three to four months before any sort of sport can be resumed again, most likely recovered six months post-surgery, but full recovery can take up to one year.
He could play in April, is it worth the risk? I am sure his doctor and PT folks will know what is best.

Who cares- neither is a good school so enjoy getting a great job graduating from either place.

the only people on here who think Dunk's is coming back this Spring are the SJC homers are aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

When you look at his collegiate trajectory, is it really worth coming back for the final 2 - 4 weeks of the season?

100% agree - great player and even better person + will return even stronger. However, you living in a glass house chucking stones at SJC is comical. Do compare SJC/Prep/Landon to on field graduation losses, team culture and experience/young talent. You been spending way too much time reading those tea leaves. Bit surprised you failed to mention what you wish you had and what really separates these programs. Dare to guess? Been a consistent at Military Road since 2017-18. Reason why you and your quarterzips will be back on the annual IAC bandwagon blame game at end of spring. Have fun!
