Disclosing the contents of the search warrant is the opposite of a "cover up" you dolt. |
how is Garland running scared and shat the bed? he signed off on the warrant. and is standing up for the men and women who are just doing their jobs. protecting us every day. |
He acknowledged signing off on the application for a warrant. What else are you expecting? Or is this just throwing dust in the fan? This isn’t a good sign for anyone in the Trump inner circle. Sh+t just got real — TFG reportedly is trying to retain competent criminal attorneys —and thanks to legal aces like Kash Patel has all but admitted a violation of the Espionahe Act. But there are more shoes yet to drop from the grand jury. Count on it. Garland all but told us so. |
| The motion allows trump to answer if he feels it shouldn’t be unsealed. I know that’s standard to allow for an answer but I think that’s clever to put the onus on trump to say he wants it to remained sealed. |
Berger was investigated, prosecuted and sentenced. |
He’s dead. So he’s not happy about anything. |
I'm sure Berger is happy that he cooperated and returned the documents. I'm sure he's also glad that it wasn't a felony until Trump made it one. I for one am glad that Trump decided that what he would later do should be a felony. It's perhaps his greatest accomplishment. |
+1 It’s a great response to the RWNJs at Judicial Watch who probably thought DOJ would contest their motion to unseal. Now they can’t cry about a coverup anymore. |
Nope. Trump should just let them swing. They screwed up here, and he shouldn’t bail them out. |
Trump will allow it to be unsealed. I guarantee it. |
It's a very good move. Trump has been exploiting the lack of information to spin all kinds of tales and conspiracies. He will now have to choose whether to oppose the motion, and be seen as the one clearly responsible for the lack of information, or let it be disclosed along with the specific list of classified documents he had stolen. |
Trump won’t let them off the hook. He’s going to make them own this. |
You mean Trump is going to try to keep covering up his crime. |
| Round 2 will be MAGAworld arguing that it isn’t illegal if Trump did it — that is, he didn’t violate Section 793 because he declsssified the documents. That leaves him with a PRA violation. But I’m guessing the FBI has something else from a CI or FISA intercept. Something more than he was about to destroy the materials. There’s a reason the materials weren’t properly returned pursuant to a grand jury subpoena and the chief of the DOJ counterintelligence section felt it necessary to visit MaraLago. |
Your intellect is truly dizzying. |
